C'mon...everyone else has one! I'd like to unlock my extended ROM, then run the DOC tool to make my available ROM larger. (Not to mention get rid of all the crap sprint has bundled onto this device!) Anyone??????????

as i reinstalled my desktop PC, i have to install some SDKs to be able to compile the extROM unlocker...

SUCCESS.....mostly.
I do get the "success" message. I can write to the extended ROM. I can copy application folders to it. I can create shortcuts to those apps and run them.
I can NOT see it in any file explorer other than Total Commander, where it has to be typed in. It does not otherwise show up. It does not show up in memory setting. Therefore I have no idea how big it is. I can NOT install applications directly to the extended ROM. I can only copy/move their files/folders to it.
So....it's a pretty damn good start....Good going Buzz.
Anything else I can try to make it more visible?

maybe it will also work for my Wizard 100 ?? I am unable to erase or write any files with the current unlocker for the Wizard. Can you pm me the file so i can test it for you ?

The Wizard Extended ROM unlocker .cab works on the Apache.
I now have 9.54mb of additional storage available. It is completely unlocked and visible.

Also the WM5 compliance tests are worth checking out in my blog. They give a very detailed picture of each tested application's/game's WM5 compliance.

Has anybody experience this problem that activesync run on its own. I realize this coz I often check the memory due to its decrementing gradually.....

Hi, thanks but it must be a version for wm5/6. The cab won't even install on my Magician.
I,ve searched around the forum & found this one which is stated for WM2003SE
Looks like it's not the original Solitare. But I'll give it a try tonight. Thanks!

I confirm, it is not the original "Solitare" from Microsoft. Instead, it is a 3rd party app that doesn't look and is not the same at all.
