I HAVE TRIED TO CONFIGURE THE SETTINGS FOR GPRS/WAP BUT TO NO AVAIL! ANYONE HELP ME PLEASE BY TELLING ME STEP BY STEP ON HOW TO DO THIS? I THINK THE O2 XDA IS THE BUISNESS BUT AT THE MINUTE AM ONLY USING IT FOR THE PHONE AND THE WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER! aLSO DOES THE MSN MESSENGER WORK ON PAYG. SORRY ALL SETTINGS NEEDED ARE ON PAY AS YOU GO! THANX 2 EVEYONE WILLING TO HELP :wink:

Copy the requisite cab file into my documents via activesync, then use file explorer to locate it, then tap on the file to install it

I have an Anextek SP230 Pocket PC 2003 Phone Edition device. I don't have any MMS software included or a software to view the SIM Menu (vodafone services like news, etc.)
Is it possible to extract this softwares from an XDA II rom and install it on my device?

Do you know any software that would make SP230 behave like a modem over IR or cable? wmodem program is not working.

when you press the url if the browser window it launch have http at first then it's because the forum's auto url linker mess up
copy paste and make sure that ftp is the first part of the url being displayed in the address bar
or you could use a real ftp client
like cuteftp
or total commander
or something
and if your firewall or your isp's firewall block active ftp
you can set your ftp client to use pasive ftp

Use activesync to copy cab to XDAII then from the XDAII use file explorer and click the file to run it.

I need a Prog (for my MDAII), which always check an ftp server for new files and, if there are some new txt-files, the prog should download them to a special directory on my PDA. It should'nt be very complicated. Maybe it has to start automaticly and works this way.

i've install the cab file but i can't find the "O2 Connect" programme...what's wrong? :shock:
not a program.it just add GPRS connection settings to your registry.
Check settings->Connections->connections.You'll find O2 UK's already been there and ready to be used.

Just copy the files to the Windows folder and create a shortcut under Start Menu>Programs>whatever folder you want.

INTShRUI.exe is not a Valid PocketPC application.

Thanks for that, have been looking for this app. for awhile now.
Softbank X01HT (Hermes) ROM contains those files, but reports "IntShrUI.exe is not a valid Pocket PC Application" when executed. The files on the X01HT ROM were: IntShrUI.exe 184 bytes, intshare.dll 208bytes.
The files posted above execute properly and detect my net connections. Now I just need to find out what to do about this message: "Cannot connect for an unknown reason. To change your connections settings tap Settings."
Will post if I find the answer.
