I have changed some rom's to my O2 XDA but the beam connections not function! the display stops with message "Extabilishing connections with ..."
and no connection have be done.

ROM date: 02/04/04

I have a Qtek s100 and recently update it to ROM vs 1.12.00 WWE
ROM Date: 05/28/05; Radio Version: 1.1200; Protocol Version: 1337.42; ExtRom: 1.12.119 WWE.
Does anyone knows why does sometimes when I receive a call from someone on my contact list it only shows the number insted of the name?This only happens sometimes, Is this some kind of a bug from this rom vs? It also happens with 1.06... Any sugestions?

I have i-mate JAM with the same ROM... and I'm facing the same problem after I made the upgrade.. :?
may next ROM will fix this, at least I hope so..

try to connet to the internet using GPRS and check my e-mail to my yahoo... log in ok but i cannot see my inbox message said you need to Upgrade your internet explorer 6, or net scape v.???? and so on....

what settings you using?
where having problem here in Bahrain regarding signing Yahoo mail (all imate) using GPRS batelco and MTC vodafone bahrain and even i try to speak to agent support for IMATE they said you need to find other ISP because the IMATE still not supported that? or maybe the version that im using? even try to use Net Front 3.2 same problem

2. Also, Im having problems connecting my BT GPS with my navigation software. I can pair my GPS but my software cant find the GPS.
I have seen in XDA-DEV forums that on JASJAR there is a need to discover a hidden software called GPS or something by changing the REG.
Tried that, but nothing, its like the software doesnt exist on Qtek9100.
Also, tried the rest of the thread about the GPS, but still, no success.

You sure you have that date right? Mine is 9/22/05 same as the top post and I have 1.1.75...seems like your would have a later date if it has a newer ROM, Radio, Protocal, and ExtROM? Is your phone branded or unbranded?
Those who have a 9/16/2005 date have the i-mate K-JAM.
Those who have a 9/22/2005 date have the Qtek 9100.

I am successfully running Skype 1.2 Beta on my K-JAM and it works great. I didn't install anything from the extended rom.
Does the non extended ROM version of Skype stay completely unloaded when not in use, and unloads complately after use?

skype doesn't work, it crash both integrated versione both beta for generic arm and k-jam become very instable and need hard reset
it doesn wakeup after sleep mode after skype crash
experience with skype is important for give a valutation of rom i think

My i-Mate Jam keeps switching itself on when external BT devices (headset, GPS receiver) send some notification to it.
Is it possible to stop this?
