Cant uninstall Pocket Bluetooth Tools

When I try to unisntall the program because it contains some seriouis bugs in combination with the magician, it just keeps on going with the microsoft turning icon, nothing happens. I have to do a soft reset to be able to work with the magician again, and then pbt is still on it.

Never mind, problem solved. After waiting a very long time before soft resetting, the todayplugin part of PBT was gone. After that it still was in the software list, but after removing it again it is now completly gone. (aswell as my active sync via bluetooth )

i think u r using the wrong version of pbt
try using the Version 1.0.1.2 (Installation through Windows PCs)
it works like a charm on my o2 mini
the higher versions r not as stable as this one

But what's the point of using this software? I was told it enable BT Activesync but I found I can do that w/o this software now.

Thats true, I had it working twice without it, (on my 1.01 and 1.06 rom) and with the 1.11 rom I didnt feel like going through it all again, with PBT it worked instantly. Thnx for the tip btw, will try it now
edit: Installed it, works immediately again. I hope the bugs are gone now...

- save the BT files directly to the SD
- show the sender name
- there is a bar shows the receive status
- set a ring for receiving
- you can accept or decline the file or set it auto accept
- show all old files which received with the sender names
- search for BT devices ( shows pictures for devices , to know what is the kind of device ) and send for them
- you can switch on and off the BT from the same software.
- running on WM5.0 or older.
- you can swith it off then receive with the device BT without any problem
don't forget to put the file of software on startup folder on windows directory.

is that the ArabizerSuite in your today ? I need something to enable arabic, any recommendations ? I just want it to add arabic support for word/sms I don't want it to mess up my os free or commercial doesn't matter.

The only slight problem I've found is that when I select the search option, I can't turn off the bluetooth unless I select start, then stop. Can the search be set to stop searching after a certain amount of time?

and when i soft reset it , hang in main screen (same page that write IPL , SPL , GSM , OS Ver) . and not BOOT !

I think it was clearly mentioned that this rom was meant for CID unlocked devices,you could try flashing it back to a stock rom,(orignal shipped rom) all the best.

i had the same error. In most of cases is because You didnt switch off firewall. Try to flash t-mobile official shipping rom (i done this on my orbit o2 fm uk) by boot loader - keep record button when You do soft reset. For me was helpfull.

HP's Today Plug In

HP has a today plug in that I really would like on my phone. Has anyone been able to remove it and create a .cab so it could be used on other phones?

Try this
A registry key may be missing (doesn't show the backlight level)
But it works well on my prophet!
EDIT: see www.rhinocode.com for full updated version... The backlight issue is due to the lack of ipaqutil.dll, which seem to be device specific...

Thanks! The Backlight level is one of the things I wanted most but I can always just assign it to a softkey.

Can anyone help
The Jamin is working perfectly with WM6.1 other than the keypad for the phone won't recognise numbers pressed for computerised calls centres' ie when you are asked to say press 1 for service department or press 2 for accounts department.
anyone got any ideas for me...

Try and use Advanced Config (as shown in Dioxda2s post) to enable DTMF support.
