Poop! Radio not working, please help!

G'day fellas
I've got an O2 XDA, and just cooked up a ROM in the kitchen, flashed it to WM2003 4.01.12 ENG O2euro, which went fine. I then tried to update the Radio Stack, using O2 Latest Official Radio Stack RU 4.21 found here:
http://www.yorch.net/upgrades.htm I did this because the phone wasn't working at all, but I can only get a low signal where I am anyway.
It tried to update the Radio, went to 10% and then 'update failed'.
Now when I try to turn it just hangs on the load screen, and when I go into Wallaby Bootloader V5.17 I get 'GSM ERROR'!!
Is that the wrong radio stack for Australia? what on earth can I do now? It won't even boot up into the pocket PC.
Am I able to flash it or re-flash it again, just so I can get it working?
Please help... thanks.
You have the same problem as me. You can enter the OS but you will need to wait for a long time(~10min). Poor man, i think you can repair it only in the center, may be you will be luck if in your country there is center. Im moscow there is not. When you repaired xda, tell me ok. GOOD LUCK
Thanks for your reply, Long.
I have searched these forums extensively for an answer, and even if I was able to 'boot from SD' I don't think that would enable me to flash the radio again, only the ROM.
Yes there is a service centre here, and I would assume they are able to repair XDA's. I will take it there and hope that the repairs will not be expensive.
It's such a shame this happened, since this is my first Pocket PC, and I've only had it a few weeks. It's been a fantastic device (apart from the phone not working properly) and to think that it can stuff up so easily just by applying an 'official' update... :?
I would very much be curious as to how they would repair this at the service centre, so that we could possibly be able to fix this problem ourselves.

Himalaya crased running ClearJumpCode... HELPPPPPPPPPPP

Hi everybody:
I've just crashed my himalaya when i ran ClearJumpCode... how could i fix it???
Somebody is going to kill me before 2005
Please anybody could help me
thanksssssssssssssssssssss
Try hard reseting your device if still not. reflash it...
you have to re-flash the device.... you had just cleared it of its Identity... goodluck!
Yes, I did on mine also and you don't have a choice but to upgrade the device (flashed). After I upgrade my device my device its now showing O2 on my operator ID. I used to be TMOBILE. I guess runing clearjump on your device erase even operator ID. Can someone enlighten this...
So, it means that you can flashed your device without changing operator ID as long as all nbf files are the same operator. (this is just a wild guess).

My prophet reboot is too slowly! everytime must need about 5 mins!

I have been try to change ROM. e,g :s200,dopod aisa, jester ROM.
everytime reboot the prophet. It will stop in the HTC logo and pay about 5 mins. all ROM's the same.
who have the same problem?
and how to saft it?
thanks!
once the phone is on, does Bt work? If it doesn't this is the problem.
I had the exact same problem, just to realise that the BT chip was broken.
I had to send it back to service (under warranty): they replaced the motherboard and all is working now.
This way you will also get new IMEi and MAC address for the wifi and latest rom
I think so!
I can't open BT now.
Hi Chairman,
I've got the same problem.
Send it to repair as soon as you can. Don't wait.
I've waited to long, thinking i'll just flash my device back to German language (it's an O2 XDA Neo) and then go to Germany to give them to repair, but it just died after few weeks.
Now it doesn't turn on at all, so i can't flash it anymore to original language and send it for repair under warranty because it's contents is in French.
As Thegios said, if they changed motherboard, then it has to be an expensive replacement if not under warranty.
So, don't wait, or you may have a dead device. And if, like me, you flashed to another ROM and language, you'll be lost
In my case, the excessive boot-up time was gone after upgrading to the new and latest official Qtek Rom

artemis after sim unlock "unknown sim card"

Hi, I searched forum but haven't found any solution, recently I had repaired my Artemis and got new motherboard so to get rid of crappy orange software I wanted to change rom, after successful USPL and replacing rom with wm 6.1 (tried 5 by now) I unlocked the phone as it was on forum, tried 4 different sim card's, and still no luck "unknown or missing sim card". Any help greatly appreciated.
Hi mate...you have changed your motherboard?
How, where and how much have you paid it cause I need one too and I'm from Malta....
As for the no sim problem..I think you should try to restore it to factory rom
on the first place, and if it doesn't help, you have to go to IMEI unlock it...
I think it is roughly 20-30 GBP....and you can do it on line.
Hope it helps...

[Q] GT-iI9505. Flashed ROM and now NO NETWORK (I've got wifi & mobile data)

Hello, I have successfully flashed a few handsets before so not a total noob, but still pretty inexperienced. I have a problem that I'd really appreciate your help with. I bought a 6mth old immaculate S4. I hated the Samsung crap on it so decided to install a rom. My original attempts to install CWM failed (kept rebooting back to standard recovery and standard rom) but eventually I got PhilZ Touch Recovery on and then installed a custom rom.
I was feeling very pleased with myself until about 4 days later the network connection failed. So I now have a phone that works in every way including wi-fi AND mobile data but can't send receive texts/voice calls. I did send it to Samsung for repair under warranty but they just said it had been damaged by the rom installation and that the warranty was void.
Now I understand I've voided the warranty, but I'm wondering
1) why did it work after the ROM installation (even just for a few days)?
2) Did the ROM installation damage the phone?
3) Is there anyway to correct this problem or is it in fact hardware failure that I will now have to pay to get repaired?
Any help you can give me would be gratefully received. Thanks Jason

Hi ,
is hard to tell what happen, is you have mobile data I assume your imei is ok (Find the IMEI by dialing *#06# on your phone or by checking the sticker underneath the battery)
first thing i would try ( after backing up all my stuff and EFS) would be flashing back a fresh stock rom to make that everything is back to normal and start all over again...

Thanks for the reply.
Yes, I can still find my IMEI using *#06#.
I have tried 2 other roms, but both are non-stock.
Everything works except network connection.
I'll look around for stock rom and put that on.

Hi,
you could try differnt modems and so on...but it will take longer go for a stock rom ( Sammobile or from the post i gave you) and see if everything is back to normal and from there start all over
