Downloaded video clip wont play on my WM5....

I recently downloaded a video clip from YouTube using a firefox program... I converted the .flv file it saves it as to a .WMA file... but the video wont play on my Cingular 8525 (TyTn). Does anyone know why it doesnt play?? i checked the properties of the video on my fone and it shoes the codec to be a msmpeg4v2. Is this the reason?

Just use Coreplayer..
wmp sucks..I only use it for playing .mp3's

Im assuming you paid for it?
Also what ROM are you running?? This issue has been addressed MANY times and sleuth has posted a fix on this issue.

The ROM is the software version that runs on the phone,you need to read some more information in the wiki and use the search feature of this forum before posting some more dude, sorry.

TCPMP **** Why Still in Beta ????????? ************

I think Tcpmp Player is the best thing out there -- Honest Opinion.
Just wondering with all the plugins out there why is it still in Beta?
I mean .081 --- Is it possible for someone to finish it off and come up with a 1.0 ???

They did. It is called The Core Player and is a commercial app now.

I have the latest Core Player but still think TCPMP is much better. Its open source and free.

Welcome to the club. -_-
Even with the new coreplayer update, it's still much better.

TCMP is cool and the only reason why Coreplayer would be interesting is the GPU Support (for my KS20), Better Decoding-Speed (GPU?) and Youtube-Integration. Who cares about a nicer UI and a few more small functions comapred to tcmp and this for 25$? At least not me.

there! i want to know wether its possible to have walkman 4 player for x1 bcoz it is far better than x1's player.
or is it possbl to have visulisations from walkman 4 player or from w960 for x1 .

I don´t know much about "Walkman Player", but I can recommend Firefox as browser for your PC. It has this fancy feature called "spell correction", as an ad-on option.. It´s really helpful, to make other people understand what you write!

ya walkman player in the walkman players are way better than the player in x1.. i am little disappointed with the x1 player and i hope they improve it in the new rom..

The walkman player w960 uses is not 4 but a uiq version of 3.
and i dont think its possible to port from uiq to winmo.
And before i forget the x1's media player is verry similar to walkman 3, do you even know what you are talking about?

actualy i want a player that has some sort of visulisations. i know w960 is uiq3 phone. but can't we get the player like that in wm.

I am looking for a video player that will play MV4 that I can go back a few frames or more without going back to the beginning. The media player that is installed with the HD2 plays great but I need this function

Try convert to other format. Some files cant be played in core player.

Need a good video player that can play flv files

Just as the title says, I"m looking for a good video player that can play ".flv" files among other formats.
I used to play this files with vplayer but this "will be free forever" player is now costing money.
I would love to hear your suggestions!
