First time poster here, love the site. I have a German Tmobile MDA with Rom 1.12.00 WWE and radio 1.12.10 and now I see there is a radio 1.13
Any idea what is the difference and do you know wether it will work with my unit. Thanks in advance for the help!!!

I have been posting here for a little while now. Still my journey isn´t over . I am still looking for a free way to unlock this f**** phone. A Qtek S100 locked to Telia Sonera.
And:
Look at my specs below. Is there an upgrade that works for this phone anyware? If, where?

ROM date: 01/06/05
Radio version 1.05.00
Protocol version 1337.39
ExtROM version 1.06.116 WWE
qtek 1.11 rom is available on the qtek site / ftp here, so you shouldnt having a problem upgrading, there isnt however a free utility to unlock the device. It's either you call sonera and pay whatever they charge or use the services of imei check

Have you tried http://www.imei-check.co.uk/ to unlock your phone? They say they can unlock the Magacian...

Hey guys! I have a 8125 that I unlocked to use with my T-Mobile service using lokiwiz 0.3... I really like it and it works great... Here is my system information.
ROM version 2.25.11.1 WWE
ROM date: 5/11/06
Radio version 02.25.11
Protocol version 4.1.13.12
ExtROM version 2.25.11.102
I was thinking about CID unlocking using this http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=56088 so that I could install that new T-Mobile ROM http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=57963 ...
I was wondering should I upgrade to the new rom and would it be worth it...
Also I wanted to know the benefits of upgrading to this rom...
I have been reading on this website about how upgrading this rom or something is irreversible?? Please tell me what you think I should do...

Upgrading is not irriversible. First thing you should alaywas do before any upgrade is a backup. Im talking about a dump of the original ROM to a memory card - you only need like 56MB for a full rom dump perhaps even less. Then worse case you boot into the boot loader and restore that.
