Universal releases in Germany Sept. 1st!!!

Hey guys just got word that Universal releases in a couple days in Germany. Im going to have my order in, in two weeks. Does anybody know if an unlocked version bought from Germany will work in the USA?

All German MDA Pro's will ship with a German Rom and a QWERTZ keyboard. Not worth buying. Wait for the Imate or Qtek version

Making the device english is not hard.
Itsme has provided all the info i need to make it english
just like did when the xda2 came first in germany.
Can we switch the keyboard layout you think?

german rom to english one?

hello everyone. i hope my question isn't 'off-topic'.can somebody please tell me when there will be an english rom that could substitute the german one provided with the mda vario that comes from t-mobile?the reason is that i would like to change the german rom with the english one,because i do not speak german but i bought the phone from germany where i was the past weekend.thank you all in advance!

German ROM in Vario
I am not sure, but the Qtek 9100 or I-Mate K-Jam ROMs should be pretty much useful for U, if you can get them.
Wher the hell did you buy the MDA vario in Germany? I am living here and I can not get it. When I was trying to order it from T-mobile I was told on the phone, that the units will be available on January 18, 2006 ! C R A Z Y ! !

to all of you asking from where i got it let me tell you that i bought from dusseldorf from a cousin of mine.but from what i know many people got through the net from well known german sites! but what i am asking is if there is an english rom to change the german one?please if someone knows...

Officially no "cousins" :shock: and no well known german sites do sell the Vario in Germany, yet. If you really have it - U R LUCKY!
@ fut. problem: You could also try the US ROM form the US-version of the Vario. Maybe using the miniSD card and the backup software /w "backup/restore All data".

I just bought MDA Vario and have the same problem(((( everything is in dutch PLUS it's sim-locked. ANYONE HELP!!!!!!!!!

maybe you do not have the right people in the right places if you know what i mean.but still the reason that i wrote this topic is different and you are not helping with your answers. can you help?otherwise let others help those with a question or a problem.as you can see i am not the only one...

Guys I know Orange have released this in France as the SPV M700, any news on whether or not T-mobile will release this as well?
And when can we expect Orange to release this in the UK?

I was just speaking to a mate of mine and he tells me he read somewhere that only Orange have the exclusive rights to the Trinity!
But then again I've also read here that Vodafone in Germany have already added it to their catalogue.
Maybe we'll find out soon.

What language is in Sweden X1?

I am going to Sweden to buy X1, but I want to buy english version. Is there two versions available in Sweden or only Swedish? Oh, and what shop I should looking for to buy it there? You think I will find it in Ystad?

Have you bought an EU version of the Galaxy Note either from Amazon.de or one of the UK retailers selling them, like Handtec?
Are the manuals, box and documentation etc in English, or are they in German etc?

I got from eBay, the guy shipped from Germany so it's most likely the German version(Especially since the default language was set to German). The box was in English and the quick start guide came in English and German.

I'm awaiting delivery from amazon.de but I have already downloaded and browsed the user manual....

Mine is polish I assume (the box says www.samsung.pl )
and I have one non-english manual.
I already downloaded/read the english manual though, from the german samsung website.
