Does anyone have a working (for Samsung Galaxy S I9000) link (to the APK) for the new updated Android market? Or wich is the usual way to update the market application.
And if so, does the updated market already work for europe, or is this for know USA only?
hey Mate...
when I may give an advice...don't use this app at the moment.
It's far too buggy in it's temporaly state.
But if u want to try it anyway use search function...there's a thread here where u can download it.
I tested it and removed it the same day. Too laggy and too slow.
Wait for official european release - as I said just my 2 cents.
Tnx for the heads up.
Slow is ofcourse nothing new for the market, although if the new version is slow by comparision its probably hell to use it
I'll probably wait a bit longer then. And try follow the news around the new market.
In case u wanna take a look I searched for the link:

greetz
For the moment, the old market is faster than the new one but it runs well with DarkyRom 10.2.
Here is a slightly newer version of the one in the link above.
http://www.multiupload.com/HBGM27MVF4
I had to remove this update, Slow & I couldnt update apps installed.
Tnx all for the links, I'll keep an eye on it.
Might also update my current Rom first to the latest (JPQ ??) version.
Hi,
On many forum I can see people with issue trying to update with beta release , trying to downgrade with no sucess, so, am I alone to wait for Huawei release of Nougat ?
No, you are not alone. But it appears that it is wrong to say so.
Hi, i'm waiting for the official Update. I'm comming from an Google Nexus 5x with Android 7.1.1 and there is no big Reason to update to an Beta Release.
I am still using marshmallow.. waiting for final version of nougat.
ok , I will stay in the old user team ; ) I'm using nova launcher , don't really like EMUI interface , what beta release ,or mod , could add to my phone ?
I don't know why but it seems to be too many / much issue with this beta release , I need my phone , 100 % working and that's what I already have , I just hope a nougat release for 2017 : )

I upgraded to Nougat on my CAN-L01 variant and the only problem I have faced is the brightness changing in some apps even with the auto feature turned off but this seems to be a problem on other Huawei devices as well. The phone itself on Nougat is great! It's fast and opens apps flawlessy and I couldn't be happier, the Ram manager could do with a improvement but aside from this I'm 100% satisfied.
Hi...
Then, you do not have a 100%fully working firmware as mentioned in the first post...mine too is working well but...
Cheers ?

It's working fine and as I said the brightness problem has been on other Huawei devices for a while now and I had it on Marshmallow as well. The builds of Nougat from the firmware finder are not (as of yet anyway) the final builds official released from Huawei and are beta releases as far as I'm aware.
So,your brivhtnes problem ,is the phone itself ? Like maybe a bad sensor in your device ?

I'm not sure, all I know is there are other Huawei devices which have had the same problem whilst on Marshmallow and Nougat builds.

Wich problem are you talking about ? ... Brightnes or theme manager ?
MLA - L03 (nova plus canada) no problems at all, rotating the screen when watching a video can be a bit slow sometimes but that's it. Every app 100% working here

Hi,
Only a question : is there any ROM for i9000, which
- will be supported for a while
- has the latest security patches (KRACK attack, BT bug discovered in the summer)
I saw only those which are 4.4.4 based., and 14.1 Lineageos, but the latest update for these is 2017.04... I know that i9000 is old, but i hope there will be an up-to date ROM.
Thanks for all tips
The only one that seems up to date is:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s-i9000/i9000-development/rom-lineageos-14-1-t3703447
Data doesn't work apparently but that's not an issue for my usage of it.

Wow! Thanks, it seems great. What do you mean in "data"? The networking?
I hope that the latest security patches are involved in the last build.
Just got Mi A1 today and it says an update is available. I thought it was the Oreo update they announced a few days earlier but it's not. They call it "Transition version for Android O".
Reading here and on Xiaomi forums I found out that both this update and Oreo have a lot of problems so now I don't know what to do? Install this update or wait for a stable 8.0 version?
I didn't have any problems with the update you mention.
I'm also not having any problems with Oreo.
You won't be getting the update to Oreo that everyone else updated to, it's been pulled so you would end up with this December update, then would have to wait for the next Oreo update.

yes oreo is not stable.
I don't understand why 1GB update is needed to go from Android 7.1.2 to 7.1.2 again with just this changelog:
1. D2Acontinuous annoying sharp Sound problem in A1
2. D2A is transferred to 112 when the local emergency number is called in the Czech Republic
3. Transition version for Android O

The current 8.0 stable version is absolutely fine for me. Till now did not faced any issues. After update i did a factory reset.... Works fine. For me 100% better than Nougat

Same here. No issues at all apart from the well known Bluetooth battery statistics issue. I didn't do factory reset after the upgrade.
No issues with Oreo, works as good as Nougat did!
Only a minor cosmetic issue with battery stats.
We do have some problems after the update to Oreo, like Mi remote not working in India
Swiping the fingerprint sensor for getting status bar is not working etc

Yes, you should absolutely install 7.12.19 as it is a security update. This is still Android Nougat (version 7).
The update is stable on my phone and actually improved some performance aspects (e.g. the time lag of the fingerprint reader is gone).
For Android Oreo (version 8) you should absolutely wait another month or two.

In my opinion, wait for fixing updates release..
You are taking the risk for getting some annoying bugs with 8.0 version.
