In wm2003SE in the file "Browse" dialog box, even the files in my SD in the My Documents folder were being listed.
In WM5 this is not happening. Only files in My Documents on the actual Device are being shown.
Does anyone know what has to be done for the OS to search the SD card My Documents folder as well when its browsing files.
Anyone?

virus
this would disable your phone to recognize your files from the storage card..sort of virus..delete it upon activsync on your pc
Sort of what?
This is not a virus.
If I remember right this file is to instruct the system to not list the files of the dir in programs like pocket word....

When downloading in PIE, I only get the option to download to Main Memory.
How do I get the option to do this?
Also, if I start Mobile Word ec I only get to see docs in Main memory not SD Card.
What I am doing wrong?
okay, i'll answer one bit myself.
Docs on SD card , mustnt now be in sub folders of my documents. Today themes must just be in Storage Card, no sub folders.
Still stuck on Pie ?
Ok, I'll add to that...your .doc's don't have to be in My Documents, you can create as many folders as you want in the storage card's root and put your .doc's in it. Word will 'see' them. Helps to split your documents up a bit...I've created the folders 'Business Documents', 'Personal Documents', Downloaded Documents, etc.
Ok, I'm using the program Registry Wizard, created by one of the great users on this forum...Anyways, I'm runing into a small but annying problem.
For some reason my storage card was renamed to Storage Card2, and a new folder on the device was created named Storage Card, and this is where all the IE data is being stored. I deleted this folder, and attampted to rename the actual storage card, back to "Storage Card" and it said there was an error and the folder cannot be renamed. What is the particular reason for this? I'm attempting to name it back, and THEN apply the reg hack to save all IE data to the "Storage Card" folder
Any ideas?
I set the Camera to store the photos on the Storage Card but can't seem to find them. Either the camera is not processing and storing the pictures (-the counter is being reduced with each picture taken) or i just don't know where to look on the MiniSD Card, or i have a configuration problem. When i set the picture storage to the Main Memory everthing is OK.
Please HELP!!
I have exactly the same problem

The problem is that "Storage Card\My Documents" is empty
Gentlemen, I have found my/the solution.
The "My Documents" folder on my Mini-SD card was seemingly corrupt. I copied all the Directories of my SD to my PC except the "My Documents" folder and then re-formatted my SD card (FAT32). After this I inserted the SD card in the unit and then took a SD picture, this opened up a "My Documents" folder and "My Pictures" sub-folder, then I just copied everything back from my PC to the SD……..everything now works.
PS- I suggest that if taking a picture doesn't open up a "My Documents" folder on the SD then just make one yourself.
Had the same problem on my dopod D810. Just deleting the 'My Documents' folder on the storage card worked in this case. After taking a picture the folder was created automatically.
I have come across this problem recently and I think it was caused by me disconnecting AS before the sync was complete.
I have a 16gb SD card in my THD which used to be called 'Storage Card' in Total Commander. Following the incident, the card has now been renamed 'Storage Card2' by the system and shows as a small external drive in the file settings. 'Storage Card' exists in aswell in Total Commander and Windows Explorer (when linked through AS) but there is only one card when connected as a USB device.
HTC Album recognises 'Storage Card' but it has all the maps etc for TomTom but I cannot get it to see 'Storage Card2' where the photos are.
I cannot rename it, using Windows Explorer or TC.
The only way I resolved the issue previously was to do a hard-reset which I don't obviously want to do.
So...has anyone come across this before and how did you solve it?
Thanks
I encountered similar problem, not with blackstone though. I used my LG KS20 back then.
I suspected the cause is: the phone cannot detect sd card while some program tries to write to 'Storage Card'. Therefore this program just create a new folder. And since there is a folder named 'Storage Card' already, when the phone detects the sd card, it is named as 'Storage Card2'.
For my case, I noted that the 'Storage Card' folder might be created by one of the software i used, galarm. For your case, some program might have created the folder when you connect the phone to pc as external usb drive.
How I solved it: I deleted 'Storage Card' (but make sure that there is no data that i need inside the directory). Take out and put back in my sd card.
It should work for you too.
Worked a treat, thanks.
Can now show my girlfriend what the THD is like compared to her iPhone with the Album software

Plug the SD-card to your PC, copy the data inside the folder "Sorage Card2" into the same folder under your "Storage Card" and delete the folder "Storage Card2".
That´s all
