Hello,
the network card that hat my orange m600 (qtek s200) works badly with cisco AP's in my work, but works with other normal AP's (linksys, etc)
I think taht perhaps can buy other wifi sd card, like SPETEC, but anyone know how-to de-activate the internal wifi card ?
or anyone know a software that allow me edit internal parameters ( buffer sizes, etc ) for the internal card?
Any suggestion are welcome,
Than you in advance,
Jose
Hi All,
Now I have a Nokia N95 aswell as my Trinity , I don't want to have to keep switching SIM cards over. I always assumed the Trinity would work OK without a SIM card but it appears that the GPS doesn't operate unless there is a SIM card? - is this normal? and is there a way round this (short of fitting a SIM card? - If I get desperate I'll get a pay as you go SIM...)
Cheers
Ody
i found it weirdo and checked on my trinity... gps works very well even if the sim card is removed from the phone...
if it works without the sim then i guess the gps is not truely a apart of the radiostack
p.s.
heh if you put the comma after wierdo then you are calling him a weirdo
"i found it weirdo, and checked on my trinity"
Yes trying it again with the latest radio ROM (1.50.08.11) - it works OK??? I'm certain before (1.46.00.11) it didn't - even leaving it on for 15min next to a window? Now I get a lock in a few seconds....
Check that the flight mode is not activated. In my old s200 the GPS doesn't work in flight mode. (sorry for my english)
Hi:
Can I use 3G internet on PDA2k with Windows Mobile 6 ,if yes plz tell me how.
Thank
Don't think so.
Differente frequency, different radio interface, different protocol ... don't hope for it.
At least for QTEK 9090, but i'm assuming all BAs are the same.
JP
and yes JP it's almost the same when it comes to radio...
3g has a different hardware for transmission.... and our BAs dont have it.
3G needs a different hardware which BA doesnt support.
haha,原来是这样。BA=blue angel,I got it
Thanks
Thanks you all.
Well, that explains why I couldn't get it working, then!
Oh well - works fine for what I need and means I don't eat up my bandwidth.
What about a 3G SD Card
What about a 3G SD Card, like a 3G wifi SD card? I think that could be possible......

Does 3g SD card exist? Give us more info about it.
Hi all
Have been browsing your excellent site for some while now and have used many ideas with past and present phones.
Hope someone can help me as I have been very frustrated over this problem. I have a Orange M5000 which refuses to turn on the WiFi or at best now and again, at work it will turn on no problem but at home the only way to get it work is to turn on the WiFi and do a soft reset the WiFi then activates while Orange is establishing connection but before the UMTS appears. I have had a new sim card from Orange but if anything its worse. Dose anyone have fix for this or some info on the problem so I can get Orange sort it out.
Thanks in advance
Regards Andy
