XDA II to PC BlueTooth for internet browsing via DSL line?

lemme 1st say im over the moon with my o2 XDA2 from P800 to XDA2....
WOW!
anyhoo went out today and got me a USB BlueTooth thingy for this reason...
i want to browse the internet by connecting my XDA2 to my Pc and use my DSL line on the XDA2 via bluetooth.
is this possable?

Not until BT stuck will get updated to include PAN capabilities. Rumors are that it's coming soon, stand by

Yes it is possbile. You need to connect via bluetooth activesync. It might depend on what bluetooth your laptop uses. Mine is Belkin and that works great.

Hi i am connected via bluetooth activesync but still can't access the ADSL Internet that my PC is using. do i need to make any changes any where.

it took me a whole day work to get it work and at the end i discover 2 things.
1. We have to read manuals carefull and follow instalation instructions for bluetooth software and driver .
2. to activate activeSync simply go to you XDA II and select ActiveSync from start --> activeSync and then go to tools and select connect via Bluetooth.
thats it, now how can i make it access internet using ActiveSync , i have no IDEA

check if there is a V before PASS-TROUGH ( in activesync )

Hi what do you mean by a V before PASS-TROUGH!! , i have selected in RULES to use internet and i checked "open active synch when my mobile connect"

help needed on using internet on my laptop

i was wondering if some one could be kind enough to help me out with connecting the blue angel to the laptop n use its internet on the laptop . i tried using the ir modem tried it with bluetooth and the cradle as well none seems to be working..kindly advise plz

connect your pda to web,
then, on bluetooth pan, enable it.
set up the bluetooth pan network on your laptop

Of ourse Internet Sharing (app name on BA) is there only if you use WM6.

[Internet(from PC) over bluetooth] Bluetooth PAN

Hi,
my Idea is to use Bluetooth inside of Wifi to connect at home my Trinity on Internet sharing on my PC.
So I have a BT dongle which purpose an PAN network via bluetooth for my Trinity but when I want to enable this connection from my PC, it's not possible. From Trinity, I don't find where I can do it. It's like if the Trinity was not enable to create this type of connection.
Trinity: Faman WM6 4.03 fr
In the BT properties, where you can find which device is linked via BT, when I select my PC, I don't see the option PAN Network. WHY ?
I found the properties to configure the IP address of my bluetooth PAN.
PC: win XP Pro sp2
dongle BT: wirdcomm
So if someone can help me to create this network and to be always connected at home on Internet over BT without losing my battery in one day !

hi frenz..i m usng p3400i frm last 3 mnths..
its amazng excpt d thng that i m nt able to use intrnet frm my pc to this phone..
wen i connect it via data cable then it wrk absolutly fine..
i wnt to use intrnet by bluetooth .
evn i m nt able to cnnct mobile sync wd bluetooth..

Connecting with pc via bluetooth
Active sync over bluetooth is rom based feature
however Internet sharing over Bluetooth can be done using bluetooth PAN service of your PC.
Does your pc have inbuilt BT or you use a dongle?

bluetooth h\w is prefixd in my lappy. no dongle.
bt d thng is dt my rom is hvng an option fr connct via bluetooth bt my pc is nt able to luk fr ne sch bletooth device

i tried this with my desktop using a BT dongle with a little success. I was able to access the net on the HTC P3400i for some time(2-3 mins) then the BT connection with my PC got disconnected automatically. The method is to get your activesync working over bluetooth. If you can get it to sync over bluetooth you can access the net on ur mobile as long as it remains connected to the pc over BT.
