Hi, Anasky, I have uploaded CHS ROM to XDA's FTP

Hi, anasky,
Hope you can help us to make the CHS ROM done.
Be aware, the Chinese shiped upgrade ROM on xda's FTP is CHT ROM, rather than CHS ROM.
Here is the latest CHS ROM:
ftp://xda:[email protected]/Magician/Dopod.818.SD.Card.ROM.1.06.07/

To upload these rars is really difficult. Finally, I split the rar into 8 packages and get things done.
Any one who wants to upgrade his/her magician into the lastest Simplified Chinese ROM and ExtROM are welcome to use this SD card ROM.
Radio ROM upgrade is not included, but can upgrade to v1.11.00 seperately. Any one who wants to do this, please post here, I will let you know how?

i will patch os rom for German and Chinese users in few days.
Greeks was first 'cause many of them asked me do that.

This is only because few Chinese users are reading and writing in English. In fact, I post the news in a Chinese forum, over thousands replys have been out and waiting for your great work. You are becoming a hero in the forum.

first off, just want to thank you for ur hard work on the extra storage space..
second, totally off topic, but when you get the chance to patch the Dopod 818 chinese rom, would you be able to pull out the original Dopod splash screen? Since you were able to replace it with the volcano splash, i'm thinking you should be able to pull out the original splash. I've been looking for this for a while but with no luck. I thought maybe the splash screens (splash1.nb and splash2.nb) are stored in one of the cab files in the EXTROM but I couldnt find it. So, if you wouldn't mind, would you pull those files out (doesn't matter if it's nb, bmp, jpg, etc.)...just want the originals. Thanks in advance!!

I dont know if you can do this, but it would be really great if you could patch the Greek Qtek 9090 ROM

I voted for the Traditional Chinese Rom too even thought I am quite happy w/ the current WWE version.

going to Seeo2 hKweb. Overthere, there are O2 chinese verison ROM download. for my exerience English ROm stable and faster then Chinese version

CHS is 1.06, look for Dopod 818. Maybe you get white display with this flash as me....

try this one which upload by me...
connect USB cable to XDA IIi and run the program 2 times until it finish, remine you must full charge the battery first....Hope this can help you....

my O2 2i cannot change to CHI from ENG according to your instruction. Could you mind describe in details ? i had tried twise....it show "Error 100: Model ID error".

finally, i could change the language to CHT ! Thanks laikei ! However, do you have O2 2i CHT rom ? because this is Dopod rom.....and for Tai Wan..but thanks again !

This ROM is suit for Dopod 699,Orange M1500,XDA LLi.
If your telephone is XDA LLi(699)(not XDA LL),You should use.

Installing English on german XDA Neo???

Hi all...
My friend has purchased an XDA Neo from germany from O2... He wants to know if we can make it english localized, instead of the default german language.
Is there a chance to change\upgrade the ROM with an English one?? I prefer using english language instead of german one.
I searched the FTP for the correct, but I really couldn't find it with that huge number of files..

Btw - I found lots of extended/modded roms in the directory. Has nayone tried these ones on the XDA neo?? Is there a real difference in performance??

is there a thread with comparisons about different roms somewhere?
