I have an O2 XDA IIi purchased in Australia in August 2005.
I don't know if it is a Himlaya or Andes?
The various Versions are -

These chjoices did not appear on the Registration screen.

I am looking to unlock my O2 XDA IIi but just want to make sure that I have the correct understanding before I go ahead. Even though I have had my XDAIIi for a while I am a newbie here and have only ever upgraded using the upgrade tools from www.my-xda.com.
I have an XDA IIi (PH10C) which I believe is the Andes? My XDA IIi has the 1.3MP camera in it.
I have the following ROM & Radio versions on the XDA IIi
ROM Version: 1.11.00 WWE
Rom Date: 01/27/05
Radio Version: 1.00.00
Procotol Version: 1337.39
If I have read everything correctly I need to download the XDA2Unlock v2.2 (or later) and use that to remove the SIM lock so I can use other SIM cards for other networks. Is that right?

Just wondering if anyone knows of a ROM upgrade for an o2 XDAII mini?? I have looked on the O2 australia website but it looks like i have that rom version. Just wondering if there is something else around?
