If so, how would I use it? The only thing that works on the JasJar is the bootloader.

i am afraid not!
those are just files and modules but not a ROM image!
I have no way to create rom image to be able to flash yet.

why were yours dead?
My JasJar died while doing the radio update.
The update failed once, and killed it.
Since then even I managed to run the update successfully, it still won't go past the boot screen. I am hoping that a full ROM dump will revive it.
Poor guy is right. Nothing sadder than killing something like the JasJas in less than a week.

Can you claim them to replace as initial problem without telling you did try upglade? :lol:
or have to wait for new rom upgrade will come.......

Sorry just a bit OTP here but Asukal, I tried to install your Japanese support on my JasJar, it never wanted to fully reboot always froze on the IMATE page. I had to make 3 Hard reset to get back the one working.
Do you have any idea of what was going on?

Some troubles were came from the emviroment with Arabitizer like a previouse version was so.i think......
This cab contains just font and nls(not reconized yet) font link registry.
You try to delete nls from this cab.

I soft reset my JasJar before installing all stuff, so no longer Arabitizer... I think that I locate the problem, in my first exp I am sure that I mad the mistake to install everything on the SD. I tried last night again and it works now... do not I may have a bad karma

on hardreset, all customisations are run from Extended_ROM.
By default it is locked for writing with a password.
That means, you cannot add or remove programs, which are autoinstalled on coldinit.
Now you can.

Thanks for working on this. I realize that a lot of people are looking forward to "freeing" up memory by deleting the extended ROM (i.e. Big Storage). I'm one of them. Here's my question: Does this allow you to delete the files in EXT ROM? If so, are they PERMANENTLY deleted? Or can I "restore" them by reflashing my ROM from the ROM Image provided from imate's website? Sorry for the newbie questions.

Unlocking Extended ROM allows you to delete or add files into Extended ROM.
Files are permanently deleted or added.
Once you flash the device with new ROM, which contains ms.nbf (Extended ROM image), it's content is then flashed to the Extended ROM. That means there will be new content in there...
This is my first contrib to Universal, Exec, JJ community...
Next step can be the same as i did on Himalaya.
To get more storage space, e.g. remove the Extended ROM partition and make the Storage partition 10MB bigger.

NO.
This will work only on Universal, O2 Exec, Dopod 900, Jasjar Qtek9000 etc...
If you want i can try to make one for Wizard...

Excuse my lack of expertise, in PC terms is this similar to having a copy of the uninstalled o/s on your harddrive and is only required when you wanted to reinstall your o/s?
If so, would it be possible to empty the rom and only place one cab file which loaded all the required cab from SD? i.e. copy the rom to an SD and then be able to hard reset using the SD to reload the o/s?
How much space does the rom take up?

Listen i have an question and a problem..the tool is cool no doubt about that. Now we can exclude some unecessary programs etc.
But my main question is does this remove the Simlock aswell? ?!? ?
Because there are a lot of people who cant use their MDA PRO properly because it has an simlock of T-Mobile......if this does not remove the simlock could you make an program that does...? I think it is now quitte easy cause the ext. rom is an open way.....
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE BUZZ and all others.....Help and make an Sim Unlock tool just like you all dit before for the Himalaya etc. etc.

I own an HTC Wizard and an HTC Prophet.
When I try to install the program it tells me that I there has to be a program called "connect" on my device. Older versions also had this message, but there was a patch to work around this.

I newly un-hid and found my Ext_Rom in my Dopod 818.I was wondering how I can delete ClearVue's (Default PDF reader) cab file from its list.I tried and analyzed all of the files within the extended Rom but I don't know which one is installing this damn ClearVue while costumizing my Dopod.
Is there any brilliant hero around to help me on that?I would be really appreciated.

It will work, just that the music keypad MIGHT not work , till we find the lnk files which my friend is working on
Its pretty good. I have to say that I've flashed my Xphone IIm to WM6 and its par with the official rom. Its running smoothly and so far *knock on wood* there aren't any problems. Just keep in mind that you'll lose JAVA (Unless someone knows how to bring it back). Its far better then WM5. I suggest you to flash to WM5 , then start your upgrade from WM5. If you do that , its a safer route

WM2003SE --> WM5 ---> WM6
Just to be extra safe , do a hard reset (Just say Y to both of the questions during the bootup Clear <something something>. Then boot into boot loader and flash)

how do i use the folder "keyboard.dll"? i thought keyboard.dll is supposed to be a single dll file and not a folder...
