help! my xda II turns on suddenly from suspend mode, without even pressing anything... even if its in the cradle, the backlight suddendly lits although i have set it to turn off the backlight after some minutes. Help please as this is annoying for me and the battery as well....

Help! I downloaded Phonealarm from the net onto my xda mini s. after it installed on my xda it said to do a soft reset. now the screen stays off while the phone is on. i can recieve calls as normal but i cant use my phone in any other way as i cant see!

I've used Phone alarm for a while and didn't had that problem. Are you sure it is not your backlight? I've fooled myself once or twice by turning the backlight off by accident, the hardware button that is. Press and holding the power button turns off and on your backlight while the display is still working. If otherwise then disregard this silly remark.
So its the screen totally switched off or the backlight? What happens if you sof-reset? if suppose you could see the splash screen, then it maybe like some software is causing the issue. Try connecting to active sync & remove any unwanted program from startup folder or you can even un-instsall from active sync.
Hello, I have a i-mate K-JAM and it has suddenly stopped working. Whenever i switch it on, the bluetooth light turns on and the camera flash light... sometimes even the keyboard light but nothing works... As soon as i press the power button... poof the lights turn on. Is there anyway to fix my beloved phone?
its not even charging :<.... i think the motherboard is dead...any conclusions?
since a few days i've been trying to install some software on my wizard to use the led as a flashlight without using the camera mode. Though these applications did not work suddenly for some reasen my led's light turned on and I can't turn it off again. Even after a hard reset the thing is still burning and sucking my battery dry...
Only way i found so far to shut it down is to open the camera program, turn on the led (then it goes brighter) and turn it back off again. After a few seconds it just turns on again tough.

can anyone help me please please please, this problem is seriously draining my battery really quickly. what it is is that my backlight wont go off at all, notcin lockscreen or anything, it dims for a couple of seconds then goes bright again. also when i lock the phone with the end call button the screen goes off for a split second but then the light comes on an the phone is locked. driving me crazy please help!
Recently there is a problem with the device. The power button does not turn the device on and off, sometimes vibrating but the screen does not wake up even when connected to the power supply.
Double tapping does not respond. Sometimes the screen will turn on for a second and turn off.
Sometimes everything looks right.
When this happened, the device warmed up around the power switch.
So I replaced the lighting component and now the problem continues random without the device warming up.
Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be and how to solve it?
