Which program did you use, I found that if the one program that is executed on the pc didnt work then the one that you execute on the phone does work.

I have a vitel TSM400 and I want to use it with Amena (now it's locked to Movistar).
So I have downoladed the xda2unlock-setup-v2.2.exe and installed used active sync. The program is succesful installed in the TSM, but when I try to execute, a message appears that says he can's find xda2unlock.
What I'm doing wrong?. I have followed the instructions from http://www.unlockeasy.com/modules.php?name=Content&pa=showpage&pid=175

Problem is, that XDA2Unlock is for the new Devices (XDA2, MDA2, QTEK 2020,...), but you have an old device. So you need the XDAunlock tool (with ROMS including wmodem), or you have to use the XDAManipulator and a serial cable.

hi,
my first time on this site and i've been stuck to it for around 4 hrs.
i got a Qtek lately and thot to upgrade it which lead me to ur site when i registered i cudnt provide the correct information for my device there were no matching options. i goes like this

Later, when i downloded SER 1.2 and tried to run it, in the command prompt that appears frst on it said

and further onwards

Cannot execute the remote communication program.
Please make sure that the USB/ Serial cable is propoerly connected
Everything was connected, activesync was running fine too, copying installing, i checked everything
i am fairly new to the handhelds, wud appriciate help

I've tried everything, well, almost but at least a lot... and my new MDA won't seem to unlock!!!

Seems to be fairly new, haven't seen this version around on the forum.

for those of you having problems with lockiwiz 3a not unlocking your phone, well i was having the same problem, but not for long because i discoverd what i was doing wrong.
when you download lokiwiz 3a you have 2 things, lockiwiz and a folder called utils, now in the folder utils you will find a file called enablerapi its about 70kb in size, copy this to your MDA vario in the my documents folder, once there run it by tapping on it in my documents on your MDA saying Ok to everything, once youve done that, then and only then try running the lockiwiz application on your main pc making sure your connected via ActiveSync and look for the SIM unlock code in the black command promt box and jot this number down, then put SIM card in thats different from the one you use and switch on, when asked for the unlock code just type in the number you jotted down and bobs your uncle!!! well he was for me thats is.....good luck. :lol:

I think you have choosed the "Fix 'multiple resets make device slow' bug " Option for cooking the ROM....
Just remove the wm03hotfix.exe file that is located in the Windows\startup directory....
Then this error shouldn´t appear any more until you make a hard reset of your device, that will restore the ROM including this file....

I have a O2 Xda Orbit (in the wiki, the cruiser version).
Whenever I run the update tool to update whatever (splash screen gsm radio version, rom) it spits out this error:
The Image file is corrupted. Please check your Update Utility
What is wrong?

Are you in Windows Vista? (Try Windows XP)
Do you have an SDHC card? (Take it off)
And don't forget to run USPL before you flash anything.
Also you can search for a newer version of the update utility (although I don't know if that will work).
