Hi,
I'm trying to get my Blue Angel working with Exchange 2003's AUTD.
I've got everything working perfectly EXCEPT the alerts.
Anyone know what the email address is for my device with Orange?
I've tried [email protected] (arrives as a normal email), [email protected], [email protected], [email protected] and none of them work.
Can anyone assist please?
Cheers!

Hi,
I created a Cellular Line-connection that works great on my XDA II. I'm able to surf, getting POP-email and send simple text-based emails.
My POP and SMTP-settings seem to be correct.
I'm trying to send an email with an attachment (a picture), but this won't work! Through ActiveSync, this works, only when I'm using my dail-up connection, it won't work! I tried to same using GPRS, but this won't work too.
How can I send emails WITH attchments using PPC Outlook?
Thanks in advance!
Sam

Hi,
My SMTP seems to be OK, because I'm able to send plain-text messages. I double checked to website of my ISP and my settings seems to be OK...
Any other suggestions?
Sam
Hi,
I just re-entered EVERY setting of my email and connection and it seems to work!
I don't know what was wrong, but it works...
Thanks for your advice!
Sam
I still have the same problem. Is it so difficult to send emails with attachments from WM2003? I can't find a solution, although i've tried different email clients and different pop3/smtp servers...
so be it - manemoi
T,
I'm also having the same problem.
Has any one found a fix for this yet?
Does anybody else use their device to retreive pop3 email from ntl? My Xda2i flatly refuses to play ball; each time I click 'connect' the Xda goes through the motions of connecting and logging on but comes to a halt and throws up the 'Incoming email password screen' I know I've got the username and password right but I can't get past this screen. Other pop3 accounts work fine. I'm sure it's something to do with ntl as I have the same problem with my Nokia N70 (other accounts work fine on this too). Recently though I was able to pick up my ntl email on a Nokia 8800 without a hitch.
I'm using the following server names
Outgoing: smtp.ntlworld.com
Incoming: pop.ntlworld.com
Are there any ntl users around who can suggest a remedy? I'm not going to bother contacting ntl just yet as I'll only get fobbed off by somebody who knows even less than I do!
Thanks in advance.
Anyone?!
tested fine, at first I had problems logging in with the username [email protected], however by dropping the @ntlworld.com all problems were resolved.

I'll give it a shot, thanks!
Does anyone know what the address of the sms server for vodafone. I have setup an exchange activesync server that pushes email to my phone but i need to input the address to send the push text signal to. It wont accept my phone number but needs to be in the following format [email protected] or com. Does anyone know what works
Thanks
Chris
Sorry I dont have any answers for you however I would be intrested in how you set everything up so far
As far as I am aware, the only way to get what you want is the VF Mobile Alert, whch is £0.99 per month but 10p for every text message! If you're on 200 emails a day you don't want that. SP2/WM5-MSFP is your solution - and mine - but as yet none has released an MSFP ROM for the Wizard/Universal. And as Vodafone is THE worst at doing PDAs, the best hope would be T-Mobile or O2... Hope this helps.
yeah thats the outcome that i have found too, bloody expensive
hi all,
i ve configured my omnia for pop3, everything fine. Problem is i dont see the emails from internal sent via excahnge, so i decided to activate exchange webmail.
webmail is working fine from opera from the i8000, but i dont get it working with the normal outlook feature. It always says synchronizing error / fault.
SSL is not activated, i am pretty sure i ve entered all information correctly.
i tried several times, but always with same result.
what do i forget or is there anything special to do?
the only thing i really noticed: my webmail is
---https://webmail.xxxxx.com/exchange----
(the --- is only so its not recognized as link)
the problem: if i type this where the server adress should be, it always changes to:
---webmail.xxxxx.com---
PLS HELP ME! ;-)

Hey guys, I'm in New York using RCN's POP3 email settings for my email. My incoming is fine but my phone seems to be having trouble communicating with my SMTP server. Everything was fine up until this evening. RCN says it's T-Mo. T-Mo says it's RCN. I don't have email. Any similar stories or suggestions? Thanks!!!
This is crazy. Still hasn't changed. Email worked fine for months with the TP2 and for 3 weeks with the Slide and now I can't send email. Exact same SMTP server settings now don't work. Is that weird? Same SMTP settings work perfectly on my PC with Outlook but via T-Mobile, nothing.
If anyone has any ideas, I'd appreciate some suggestions. Thanks!
