Extended roms (xda-developers ftp)

Thought of openning this topic to post all Magician Extended rom's.
Here is mine for anyone who wants it:
Please add the other extended roms to the ftp and add a link here.
English Tmobile extended rom:

Thank you gd5gd, but I really need to extract one because I want a French Extended Rom. IA Caller Id is in its french 1.20 version in magician ER and I have only french 1.17 one on my qtek 9090.
The 1.20 version of Caller Id has ring tone selection included and this is the reason why...

Cant download.
Tried to download from the ftp site but to no avail. Is there any site that I could download the magic extended rom?

Is there a DEFINITIVE list as to what the files do?

Install new Qtek ROM on a Imate Jam

Hi there!
Can I install only the parts I want from the new Qtek ROM onto my Imate JAM (WWE)?
I want the T9 Norwegian for Intellipad and the new BT stack....
How would I do this in some easy steps?
Please help!

I'm also really interrested in upgrading my own JAM with the new QTEK rom : is it possible ? I doubt it but tell us anyway...

Look in the other post...about 1.06 ROM update...everything is possible :wink:

German o2 Magician and Arabic Imate Rom problem.

Hi everyone, I recently flashed my Ger O2 xda-mini to the Arabic shipped rom avaivable on the ftp. Everything goes well, however, when I do the hardreset all programs stored in the Ext.Rom are being installed except the Imaginet Arabizer, Prayer etc. cabs. Does anyone know what might be the problem?

yes u are right i faced this problem too... what you need to do is search for ImagiNet Arabizer software and install it alone over the one in the ext rom and it will work fine...

Intellidialer for MDA compact II

Hi all,
When I changed my charmer's rom to WWE my intellidialer was gone. I tried to install PhonePad_Magician_Generic_WWE_RC12.zip but it didn't work.
Any ideas anyone?

Did you try doing a hard reset and then before the device automatically installs software, you do a soft reset to bypass it. Hence the EXTERNAL_ROM should then be unhid and you should be able to install the Intellidialler from that folder.

(This relates to the T-Mobile MDA Compact II in the UK)
In the extended ROM I think the file you need to run is called SmartDialing_enable_0915_signed.cab

Looking for Prophet Arabizer

I'm looking for Arabizer of prophet cause it's not included in New ROM(Only WWE)...Does anybody have the extended ROM of Previous Version?

You can download it from the imate website, but I think that Arabized new version is supposed to be out soooon

I suspect that you will not be able to downgrade the rom, since you updated with your rom, yoy will not be ablt to downgrade it again. anyways you can get the new rom from the imate website, but you have to login

its the arabizer suite, transfer all cabs to your SD Card and Hard rest your device, and install all cab files.

here it is....
here you can get it and it is free one..
just remove any arabic software you have in your jamin and copy all the folder to your pda after extract it ,this virsion cab.
