New ROMs coming

I did contact Qtek here in Finland about when does any new ROM versions be given out. Tha answer was in begining of next year 2006.
Does anyone know what all issues will be fixed? Is there any complete lists?

Well, the tittle says it all.
It's available from www.myqtek.com.
Please be aware that you need a valid IMEI to register and get it (I've heard of some issues about this because this site seems to be sponsored by one of qtek's distributors).

What are the main diferences to the new Imate JasJar rom? It´s just the brand?

That's wonderful news and probably it's worth to make an upgrade in my HTC Universal!

Skype help

Hi All. I'm new to the Universal, having been given an I-mate JasJar for work about two weeks ago.
One thing I would like to do is use Skype (not sure for how long, but I'll give it a go). Can someone please answer the following questions (from a relative noob):
1. What version of Skype comes with the I-mate JasJar?
2. Can this be updated to the latest version (2.0.0.51) for PocketPC from the Skype website?
3. How would I do this and what "special" software is required?

Would a Windows 6.1 upgrade be released?

Even though I have only had this handset less than a week, customised it to look just right and added all the software I need, I still miss some of the 6.1 features, mainly the txt message display which was very handy.
Anyone know if a similar display is available as an add on, or if HTC or Orange UK have any plans to release an upgrade?

I am looking for the serial number of an english version of the HTC phone in order to download the rom upgrade. My phone was bought in spanish and when I introduce the serial number, it only proposes the spanish upfate. Thanks.
