just for info i use a GPS tomtom Bluetooth
I use Leadtek 9537 "bluetooth" http://www.66.com/route66/products.php?cid=SE&sec=5&ssec=0&prodid=1023 how i have heard is the best gps reciever how is on market at the moment, fastest and very exact position. Just order Brodit active holder too. With my Qtek S100 and Tomtom 3.7 and Leadtek 9537 Bluetooth reciever it work soo great. only want that acive holder so the screeen not turns off all the time.
An swedish company how tested over 50 gps reciver said that leadtek 9537 was far better then the second reciever. Just a tip for people how gonna buy one.
here is an very cheap site btw http://store.yahoo.com/semsons-inc/2ndgehiseleb.html when you get good charger on the price too.
I've got Proclip USA one, same exactly unit

I am looking to purchase a car holder for my MDA Pro.
I have a cassette adaptor which plugs into the headphone port so that I can listen to mp3s through car stereo.
I also use it for Tomtom.
Any recommendation and links will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks all in advance.

I just bought a brandit active holder (http://www.pdashop.nl/product/19986/20087 (dutch website)). This is a holder which you can turn into horizontal or vertical direction and also has an charger on it wich you can put into you carlighter holder.
The only thing is that it's only a holder and there's no arm with it. You have to buy this separated. I bought a clip wich is attached to my dashboard.
I'm very satisfied with this holder, because you can also leave your universal opened so you can use the keyboard.

To cchris!
Mr cchris does the mount you propose include the windshield module?
Is it really big? How heavy is it?
If i mount it on the windscreen will it block visibility?
Thank you!
Here's another one, made by HR.

This one snaps in from the top, so there is no danger of the Universal sliding out on a left turn.
I have one of each and would say the HR mount is a bit more convenient.

On the ongoing quest to find the perfect headset for my imate JAM I stumbled upon the Motorola Mini USB Stereo Headset

Does anyone know if they would work for the JAM?
On a side note, the concept of the USB headsets is a bit more appealing than a standard 2.5mm connection.

Are there any specs on this headset? Gracias.
The best way would be, cut those ear phones and solder them to your magician' ear piece part alone. You can easily open up the microphone thingy to see those soldering points! Play with it!
I have already created my own customized earphones for my JAM, I'm just trying to find out if something like this would work. I was not able to find any specs on the product except that it works with iTunes enabled Motorola phones.
Has anyone heard of the possability of having sound transered through the mini usb on the JAM?
il have a go, my bro has the same headset and i got a JAM il get em of him and c if it works!
UPDATE: Ok his headset was from the RAZR and was only Mono but it didnt work, repeat does NOT work.
Sorry guys!
Of course it does not! How should it? The Magician has got not USB host capability - so this fails. And neither is it wired for Audio-over-USB-jack - it has got a normal 2,5mm jack for it.
I have a Jawbone bkuetooth headset that I use with my Tytn II. Does anyone know of a device I can purchase for a desk phone that allows me to use it there, too? It needs to go between the phone and the headset because my office uses digital phones.
I know this may not be the area of expertise for most, but I am having trouble identifying where to research this. Thanks for your help.
hi - you need something like this
I don't know the seller - i just Google'd.
Good luck!
wow, I was already searching for something like that!!!, has anybody tried it?, Can you answer using bt headset??
i use the plantronics and pair it with both my Tilt and the Base station which is connected to my work phone. when i'm on my work phone and i get a cal on my cell phone i can actually switch between the two.
Voyager S510 is the earpiece alone

I had already found something similar, but this one is actually a POTS unit. I need something that plugs in the receiver line, not the phone line.
Thanks for looking though.

Thanks for responding. Do you know if the receiver portion of this will work with any bluetooth headset? I have a Jawbone that I would prefer to use.

Does anyone knows if exists an ExtUSB like the picture but small and compact with two mini-USB outputs (one for audio and another for charging/data) or 1 mini-USB (for charging/data) and 3.5mm audio ??
They are available..

You can also get them a lot cheaper from ebay. I bought mine 3 years ago, cost like £2.50 GBP. From hong kong though so took a couple of weeks but it was worth it. It has a 3-way split on mine, USB for data/charging, USB for headset and 3.5 mm audio for headphones or line out, good for using sat-nav on charge and hooked up to the stereo for hands-free. Never let me down yet.
lol no one understud me, I only want two outputs not three...
Seems like you could just search on ebay like someone suggested instead of complaining that someone's effort on your behalf is a waste of time:

kc1, I did used the search on google, ebay, etc, but sometimes not everyone can find for what is looking for...
Thkx for finding what I wanted
I have this for the Touch Pro. It is smaller than the older extensions for the Tytn II but not tiny:

It is known as "HTC Multifunction Audio Cable YC A200"

Hi All, I am wondering if i can use the OEM GPS antenna with Joying Intel units by using below adapter.
I have ordered VL 131N2 unit for my VW Passat 2012 B7 car and if possible i would like to use OEM GPS.
I checked with Joying and they said i need some adapter but they didnt know what kind. I googled little bit and i understand VW OEM headunit RNS310 GPS has " FAKRA " connector. So is the below shown " FAKRA-SMA " adapter right now for me ?

Let me know if anybody has information on this. Thanks !
I have the same car and the adapter looks good. Should work.
Myself I use the GPS antenna that came with the JY device, because I replaced the OEM roof shark antenna (GPS, GSM) with a Calearo 16V DAB/FM antenna.
Should work. I have the same
