Hi all,
I have a 1 year old XDA2 with a Sandisk WI-FI SDIO card.
It has been unlocked by O2 to all networks.
The XDA works perfectly but has 3 sets of small chips on 3 corners (only paint scrapes). Screen has slight wear over the text input area (only very very slight though).
How much could I realistically sell it for?

Hi,
I'm so annoyed that i waited until now to get a Wifi card for my Orange M500 (UK Magician). By the time i got around to ordering one, they (Ebuyer SD PDS Wireless Lan Card Adapter 11MBPS) are discontinued
Does anyone else have any recomendations for compatible SD Wifi Cards that are still available?
I see that Ebuyer.com sell the Sandisk 256MB Wireless 802.11b Secure Digital Card for £72.84 inc VAT but is it compatible?
Futurity
There's no reason why it should not work. The memory should come in useful anyway.
I have the spectec one, very very small.

Works a treat.
Im also using the SPECTEC with no issues
SPECTEC 820 + Modified E300 Drivers: a winner combo !
I got 2 Sandisk SD wifi cards off eBay, cost just over £50 each inc postage, they work a treat, just had a look and the seller no longer trades You can still get them off eBay but you'll have to look into how good the seller is. Hope that helps.
I use the Sandisk 256mb+wifi -- works quite well.
I am selling a T-Mobile MDA Pocket PC (Windows Mobile 5) cell phone that was used for only one week. I am selling the phone because I am switching to another service provider. It is in mint condition, and I am even including a 256MB mini SD card. Also included are the original box, charger, leather case, extra stylus, headphones, CD, USB cable, manual, etc. Click Here to visit the online auction.
I had a 512 MB SanDisk Ultra II Plus SD and it worked perfectly with my Magician and I decided to upgrade to the 1 GB card of the same type.
When I insert the card into the Magician I always get a dialog:
'Do you want to try to format...'
Then I answer yes and after a while I get
'This storage card has been successfully formatted.'
Unfortunately, after that the card in not visible by the filemanager or any other program.
On the other hand the card works perfectly both with a card reader and the USB side.
Can anybody help?
I bought a 2Gb Kingston card that was behaving in a similar way.
I downloaded the evaluation version of Flash Format. That sorted the card out and it has run perfectly in my Magician since.
You might also need to upgrade your ROM.
No problems with my m500 or my m1000
My magician (An Orange SPV m500 actually) has worked fine with my phone .. and an m1000 I own, with no upgrades or anything.
I got exactly the same problem with that card, but the weird thing is that it actually worked one time. I did like 20 putting/getting out and one time it recognized it and worked ok until I pulled it out. I got pretty old ROM version (1.06), would it benefit getting the newer one concerning the SD card?
Help: unable to use SanDisk 1GB SD (solution)
I found a solution.
Glue to the contact side of the SD a small piece of paper (see photo). You might have to experiment width different paper thickness.
Why it works I do not know (the paper decreases the pressure on the contacts) but it does work.
I've searched the internet, wiki & this forum but I can't seem to find what comes in the box. My old blackstone came with an 8 gig card, little crappy sued pouch, USB cable, stylus.... I think that's about it. Thinking about waiting on the Telstra version for the US 3G capability. Thanks in advance.
P.S. - Is it SIM free or can it take a SIM card?
search ebay...they tell you what is in the box...generally speaking the extra items that the seller offer are reffered to bonus items.
it does take sim card
I appreciate your help, but it was unsuccessful. I'm not interested in the "extra crap" that people give you when you buy one. Most of the specs listed on ebay are copied from HTC's website, which doesn't list what's included in the box. I guess my question is if I went to a retailer, saw the box for the Leo & bought it, what's inside the cellophane (other than the slide cover for the box & the box itself)? What size is the memory card, belt clip/pouch, screen protector, little black sticker that nobody knows what it's for, both UK & US wall adapters, screen-cleaning cloth, little black pouch, etc.........
Thanks
The India version of HD2 comes with :
8Gb MicroSD Card
Pouch
USB Cable
Headset
Charging Adapter
The UK version I got contained:
-The phone (duh)
-A USB-microUSB cable
-A charging USB adapter (Came with the UK plug)
-Headset
-A 2GB microSD card
-A (very) small user manual and the guarantee
-The battery
-A leather pouch
The HD2 has a SIM slot and a MicroSD/HC card slot; removing the battery is required to change the SIM card, but not the MicroSD card.
