i need help, somehow i've lost the IA camera software on XDA2, can anybody point me in the direction of where i can download it, 'cos i can only find praise for the s/ware. cheers
it should be in your extented rom
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/wiki/ER2003Edit
this tool give you access to the extented rom
spidey, it should have been installed when the xda2 was first booted, it will aotoinstall after a hard reset or you can use the software from the prior posting to unlock the extended rom and execute the camera cab from there which should install correctly I think.
i had hardresets aswell where the extented rom dident install
but another hardreset also make it install
Hello Guys,
I tried about everything, but i cannot get the windows 2005 splashscreens installed. I tried the file from buzz, the one in the "all download links" topic, and even the old cab file. Do i need to do a hard reset to get it done? I have the feeling i am missing something here...
i did it ones before when i had 2003, and therefore i now have windows 200SE splashscreens, very nice, but i prefer the 2005 ones now. Because i am running 2005
Thankx in advance!
P.S : thankx for all the great work on 2005, i am running on that OS now, and it is perfect!
I am stuck with the same problem
Hello,
I had the same problem.
I downgrade my Qtek2020 with win2003SE with a customized extended rom (2005 bootscreen).
And i re-upgrade it with win2005.
Now i have a nice boot screen and the most important, now the cab for changing bootscreen are working... Just need a soft reset to see the screen.
It's radical method, but it work.... and take time (more than 1h)
Bye

How about us under 1.60c.00WWE with PS and 30.53 Storage 120.32 Program memory configuration?
There is no Extended_ROM partition... :?
EDIT:
Never mind... I ran the Extended ROM unlocker anyways and even though it does not show the Extended partition it allows the bootscreens to install just fine.

Rayan

hi, after unlocking extrom and getting rid of all the stuff in there which gave me 9.83 MB of additional space I am having a couple of problems.(the extRom is called extended_rom2 - can I change it)
1.so , I would like to cook my own extRom with my own applications but I'm having problems doing it.
everytime I edit my config.txt(uk t-mobile) and put it back to extRom together with the CABs I want to have auto-installed after hard reset are in fact not getting insalled ..only the CABs which were pre-installed on t-mobile extRom are getting installed. any ideas, solutions anything popeple??
2. the phone pad dosnt support 3G telephony (video talk button is gone - the dial pad is just the basic win version) I assume I need to re-instal a cab responsible for this but which one is it.
uff..thx in advance for any help.
cheers, cudo
ps. when doing custom extrom can I instal cabs from SD card and only put config.txt in the extrom ?
