I had bought o2's Mini XDA S recently in Germany. Due to the German OS, I am facing problem in using it properly and to understand.
Request, if any one can guide me how to convert this to English language and the consequences of changing it from the Products warranty point of view.

By the description i could understand it is some program which unlocks the sim..
I wanted to know, unlocking the sim would help in choosing language options from the currently loaded os?
or do I have to load English version of OS on top of this?
Sorry. I am not at all aware of these buzz words like "ROM" etc. and am completely new to this terminology..

i asked my friend working in o2 and he said that the phone is lock free..
and now i had downloaded the software from the link you had forwarded..
but i am un aware of the procedure to install it over the exisitng one..
could you pls suggest me how to do this..

Am a Newbie to this so Please Bear with me, Have just purchased a New Softbank X01HT From Shenzhen, it has English on it, My Question is how do i find out what it was "Flashed" With ? And what would be the best and Latest Flash to install? Only had it a day am at present printing the Manual 204 Pages
Only thing i have noticed briefly is that keys on keyboard do not correspond?

I'm sure this has already been posted, but some of the explainations are unclear. There are people telling me how to change my chinese version to english version, but no one has the english version. I tried to download from seeo2.com and they are no help. Can anybody explain to me in detail how to make my Chinese xda atom to English. Can you tell me what I need and where to get it.

that doesn't work. I've tried downloading the english rom and it won't let me. That's why I was wondering if anybody had it. and if anybody could tell me how to do it. I even sent them a e-mail and as of yet, no response. Does anybody have any ideas??

I have an English Atom and have just moved to Beijing, however i have noticed that i get some kind of configuration menu and then a "SIM ToolKit" menu pop up everytime i soft reset. Also the phone service seems to lock up at random and without me knowing i am un contactable as if i were "out of service area". I'm using China Mobile post paid SIM card and have run the Autoconfiguration program that comes with hte Atom. Does anyone have any ideas on how to correct the problems that i'm having? Also the battery does not last as long as it did a few days ago before i arrived, i suspect that the phone is always searching for the net work....maybe?
Please could any other Atom users in China give me some advise.
Jstbuyin, I have the ENglish ROM versions from the O2 site, is that what you need or do you have the ROM but just can't install it on to your Atom?

I had brink my Herald when i tried to upgrade to WM6 and now i only can access his on bootloader mode...

Welcome the board , Lets wait until end of July...!
I Think Moderator here shoud warn people want to up WM6 called by ASEG...many many people here have briked phone with ASEG's ROM!
If there is no Portugese ROm available, then you should make use of your warranty and send it back to your provider for service. That's how some could recover their device and don't better don't mention you tried to flash an unofficial ROM onto your device
I have a portuguese rom, just let me know how to extract it and i will sent it to you

Hey guys, I'm trying to download an update for my HD2 but I have no idea which ROM to download..so can anyone help me with that? because there are different regions and all, and I don't want to download the officila one from the officila site because I live in an arabic country, and it'll turn my phone into Arabic, and I don't want that, so anyone can tell me what to provide them with info so they can help me please? thanks in advance.
