:? can you unlock a xda after its been bared
Of course you can unlock it, but it will still be barred.
if it is legally yours, you can ask your operator to remove it from the blacklist
that is very easy to change IMEI!

to anyone that reasure me,
the best option for me seems to be to buy a new O2 XDA and unlock it, in order to allow it to accept a Greek GPRS enable sim-card. am i on the right track? or does the subscriber need to be to be on of the ones listed on the XDA developers Special EditionROM v1.2 report, e.g. Austria, Germany and so on. or are these just the countries that the Developers had information on at the time that they developed the software? if so will i have to configure my Greek GPRS settings on my own and is this difficult? i know i have aske loads of questions but i hope someone will be able to answer them thanks a million in advance.

I havent seen this posted on this site yet, so I thought I would add it. Cingular know gives you your PUK code through their OLAM. You no longer have to use "other" software to unlock it or wait 10 days for them to give you the PUK code.
unlocking
which tab is that under?...i cant seem to find it
OLAM = Online Account Manager.
It's in the Phone/Device section.
Thank you for the information. So we need not get the PUK code from the Network provider huh?
Two locked network Is there a way to open the network
pin code

If you want an answer, you're going to have to explain yourself.
What you've written so far makes no sense.
E.E.
I think what he is trying to ask is how to crack a password-protected network open. Not possible.
Not LEGALLY possible.

I just got my sim unlock code from tmobile but I can't find my att sim that I usually use to put the code in. I know some older phones have service codes that you can type into the dialer and then enter the code. Is there one for the s5?

Might be faster if you find another sim or ask to borrow a friends to unlock it.

Borrow a neighbour's SIM card as suggested above. Previous models have had dialer codes to enter SIM unlock codes e.g. *#7465625#, *#0111... and so forth. None of which work on the S5. So it's a depreciated method.. or the dialer codes have changed and we haven't discovered the new ones yet.
Putting in a foreign SIM still works of course and pulls up the enter unlock code dialog.
.
I spoke to a T-Mobile Agent and they gave me a sim unlock code with instructions to download a unlock app and there is no where to enter this code at.
unlocked mine with the t-mobile app. you can also use the website, this is assuming your account's still valid. locked versions worked on t-mobile mvno's (i tested mint and red pocket)

That's not an unkock code. What that is just your request number. Like a ticket number.
With T-Mo, you don't enter in a code. Go to Settings - WiFi & Internet - SIM & Network - Network Unlock. Then make sure you click on Permanent Unlock.
