I have two issues with the PDA-II (iMate): -
1. How can I clear the total call timer time including the no. of calls?
2. While on a call, how can I dial another no.? As you all know this is possible with nokia and others?

Hi,
Is there any way of using the WM2005 call log to display the total minutes of outgoing calls made since the last reset? From what i can see, it lumps incoming and outgoing calls together. This makes it very difficult to work out how many minutes of outgoing calls i have made during the month.
Is there any third party call timer software available?
TIA
same problem
i m also looking for this 3rd party software.
now u got it or not ?
if u figured it out, let me have it.
really appreciate
Hi guys
Is there a program out there that will sound an audible alert (or vibration) once a current call reaches a set number of minutes?
My current phone plan allows me 10 free minutes per call to a nominated number (with no flagfall!) so in order to make maximum use of this, whenever I call my nominated number, I have to hang up before the 10 minutes are up and then call again.
Is there anything that will keep track of how long the current call has gone for and do a notification once it reaches a set number of seconds/minutes? That way, I will never go over the 10 minutes and enjoy free calls =)
Thanks in adv!
eye on call

Read the original post again
no matter what ringtones i use they only ring for 17 seconds is there a setting or way to alter this.
and how can i silence an incoming call. id like the option to answer the call or press a silence button so the other caller still
thinks the call is ringing and that the call has not just been rejected.
thanks

Sounds like your calls get diverted to voicemail after 20 seconds (takes approx 3 seconds for the phone to ring on an incomming call). Setting your divert can be network dependant, but if you go into phone settings, there is an option called "divert" which yoy can change. Be warned - if on vodafone or other similar networks, the network handles the call diversion. However if you change this, you may be charged for the phone diverting calls to voice mail.
To mute the phone on incomming call, simply turn the phone face down on the desk. This should mute the ringer. If this does not work, you need to install HD Tweek or similar to set this option.
yes mate your right my phone does get divertd to voicemail but i was getting 29 seconds i think it was on my nokia n95 when that was set to divert. on orange you cant set divert on or of by the phone you have to ring the network but cancel divert.
as for the silence calls on flip if i have the phone in my pocket and someone calls the flip does not work as i have no surface to lay it flt on i just tried it .
so if anyone else has no solution the only thing i can think of is
1 cancel call divert with my network and hope there is a third party software that can manage my voice mail . any recommendations ?
2 any recommendations of any software to silence calls by press of a button ?
thanks
ok i managed to get the ringtone to ring longer before it goes to voicemail .
the settings for that are acually in the phone ardsar says but how can i get the
phone to silince callls without turning the phone over .
im looking for a press of a button method.
thanks
Press one of the volume buttons when your phone is ringing
blimey so easy eh when you know how .
cheers mate appreciated
or you can dial this number
**61*insert your voicemail number here*11*30#
if you then hit the call button and enter this your phone will ring for 30 seconds before going to voice mail.
cheers
when i am on the phone with someone and another person is calling me i can anwer this call - unfortunately on htc I only hear nothing.
does manila/winmo/htc supports call waiting/conf calls and features like that?
I'm not sure what your issue is, but here are some details:
You can activate call waiting, if your operator supports it. here is how it works: you are on the phone with person A, person B is calling. While person B is calling, you'll hear short beeps (always in a row of two beeps) thus letting you know there is some 'activity' going on.
You can answer the second call and put the first on hold. In the meantime, person A will hear a sound similar to the 'beeeep-beeeeep-beeeeep' calling sound.
When you decide you want to make a conference, you simply click Menu -> Conference, and now you have both calls connected.
In case you have several calls on hold, you can select which calls you want to make the conference with.
There is a couple of things i used to be able to do.
1- when on a call and get another call, it used to pop up an option to drop existing call and accept new call - it won't let me do that now. i have to dismiss the call then call back, or accept call and other is on hold. This is a reall problem if i call someone, they don't answer, but call back while i am leaving message. If i accept new call, the voicemail call is on hold in background.
Also when i first got my phone, the appointment reminder would display the phone number of the appointment, which made it easy to call and say i was running late. it's disapeared - maybe when i updated stock rom with updated stock rom (hong kong I believe)
Anyone know how to restore hese functions? call waiting one very important.
