Anybody would be so kind to explain to me how to make a cab file with operator settings?
I use at least 5 different operators, depending on the country in which I am in that moment and it is so boring to set them up each time I hard reset the Universal.
Thnx
I live in Belgium but want all date formats in "English (united Kingdom)" format in regional settings. The problem is that when entering a new contact, the default country is therefore United Kingdom.
Does anybody know of a way (a reg hack) to change the default country when entering a new contact?
I know this can be done but which code brings me to that menu?
when changing the HKLM/Comm/BCMSDDHD1/Parms/11nModeDisable key I noticed that the Country string was set to US.
My location is set to UK, I live in the UK, my phone was supplied by O2UK.
Does it matter to the operation of my phone? Does this mean my phone is set to US settings? Are there any other registry keys I need to change?
Hi,
My service operator is not same as my network operator I must manually configure GPRS/MMS settings to my mobile. A guess my operator is called like "virtual operators" or "service operators" and they don't have own network.
I was wondering that could some one know are GPRS / MMS settings for different operators inside the firmware. Or how device can have settings automatically (depending of operator). I mean that if I use SIM card from my network operator settings are automatically, but not for my own subscription which is from virtual operator.
If these settings are in firmware I should be able to modify these settings. My target is that when I reset my mobile I can have my own operator settings automatically.
Does someone know the facts for this.
