Hi. Can i have the i-mate JAM manual. Didn't get one with my pre-owned mobile. If it's already uploaded on the ftp, then can you please let me know the location for it. Thanks.

Yes. Probably even more to learn from this site then what i could find in a manual. I read this post about the functions of the two battries (which i didn't know) and someone mentioned that it's in the manual. So i thought i should read the manual incase i'm missing something.

Found it. The manual is here to download in .pdf format. http://www.compactjam.com/ - it says (on the site) that the manual is 47MB but actually is only 8.1MB in size. Can I upload this on the ftp ?

maybe if you logged in proper... in the URL is the usernameassword combination - your browser may not support that URL schema or supports it but refuses to work with it. Try a dedicated FTP client if that may be the case.

and.. btw, it's PDF file (acrobat reader). I tried to copy it to my wizard, but i don't have the acrobat reader. I installed Acrobat reader 2 from adobe.com, but it won't open. Any suggestion for acrobat reader on PPC ?mine is XDA Mini S with WM5.

I don't think that file would open in a PPC acrobat reader - it's fairly large (heavy on images). That said, try:

Was kind of wondering that myself.
Interestingly in the trouble shooting section It states that using an SD card will reduce the battery life.

I'm a little late hopping in on this thread...

Wi Fi public network

Hi everyone sorry if this message has been posted before i remember reading one simular but cannot find it again i have the O2 mini s and would like to connect to a public network using WiFi therefore wanting it for free is there any suggestions how to do this for example is there any software that will automatically search networks available if there is software could you please tell me which i need and how to get it to my phone thanks for any help and sorry if this is repetative cheers chris.

Just download it, attach your device to your USB cable (and the other side to the PC offcourse) click the .exe file, install it and watch your devices screen for further details.

New O2 Apps

I was able to download these from the O2 for a friend who has a Flame. I found the Smart Text app rather handy and was hoping to install it on my Stealth. Unfortunately after installation it doesn't actually do anything. The back up program installs as well, but when I try and run it a message comes up saying the app can only be used on certain O2 devices.
If anyone can take a look at these and get them working on all devices it would be much apprecieated.

Original CD's

Hi,
I don't suppose anyone has the original CD's from O2 for the universal do they? I lost mine when I had a fire at my flat. If someone could upload the ISO's to somewhere like rapidshare I'd really appreciate it. I've tried asking O2 support but you get the standard email replies from them demonstrating that the support representative either hasn't understood your request or doesn't know what you're asking for.

Why do you need it? if you need Activesync you can download latest from MS site..
