Hi,
I've got a G3 Prophet with a problem.
After a couple of hours my device seems unreachable for incoming GSM calls, people who are trying to call me get a standard "This phone is not available" text from my provider.
Strangely enough at the same moment i CAN call outgoing, after the outgoing call is initiated, i can receive incoming GSM calls again..
So it looks like the radiorom falls a sleep.
I tried the following radio roms
Prophet_G3_G4_RadioRom_v2.30.21.exe
Prophet_G3_G4_RadioRom_v2.47.21.exe
Prophet_G3_G4_RadioRom_v2.61.21.exe
And rom: RUU_Prophet_220734_2207114_26121_QTEK_WWE_Ship
My provider is: T-Mobile NL
What else can i do to solve this problem?

I also had some problem with all those radio rom on my Qtek S200 G3... 2.20.21 was the best for me... I am now using 2.69.21 without any problem.
I am also using the same rom as you...
Am having the same problem, have tried several roms, am curious to the solution...

Tnx for the link, I will install this radio-rom and let you know my experiences in a while, normally I only hear from people who couldn't reach me once every week or so...

Ik had heb dus Telfort en had alleen met 2.61.21 problemen. Qua ontvangst weet ik niet zo goed, mijn problemen waren met name GPRS en wifi.

I saw on the pocketinfo.nl forum that it were only people with T-Mobile. Nobody with a different provider had the same problem, too bad I came to that solution after my upgrade
Black-Rose: There are also people with the wifi/gprs problem who solved it, they mention which rom they use so you can compare if yours is the same...

I am running that Radio ROM for a few days, and it seems to be working perfectly. Just my 2 cents
Stable for a week now..
I think the latest radio rom (2.69.21) solved the problem.
Don't have any complaints either...

can any one tells what is the advantage by upgrading the Radio Rom, now using 02.19.21

I would be extremely happy if anyone could supply a proper Norwegian Rom. I need it because I have to have my phone replaced, but I'm afraid HTC will say that the warranty is broken if I send it back with a custom or foreign rom.

Here's a copy of the original 1.28.409.1 Norwegian ROM for the Touch Cruise (WM 6.0). Remember to remove hard spl too after you've flashed the original ROM back.
1. Flash original ROM
First flash the offical rom (using hard spl and your normal flash metod, I usually put the ROM on the SD card).
2. Restore original SPL
Download the originalspl.zip
Unpack it to a folder.
Start the RomUpdate Utility from the folder.
You will see the tricolor screen on you pda, and device will ask you to Replug USB cable. DO IT!
After a few seconds original spl is restored. (this will restore only spl, not flash the full rom)
You can check it to enter manually to bootloader.
You have to see this in tricolor:
POLA100
SPL-1.25.0000
CPLD-2

Because that one didn't work with my device. I'm missing some files in communications setup and I can't get the gprs/edge/g3 etc. to work. I don't know if that is a problem, but I'm afraid that the guys at HTC will notice that the rom is different and that I will lose my warranty. BTW, Bitdefender found a virus in "Polaris_CustomRUU.exe", (Trojan.Qhosts.AQP).
Yes, it's the same one. I did try and flash it to my device once, just to verify that it was genuine, and I did not get any gprs/edge errors. Not that I tried it for any length of time.
Are you sure that you did not have a hick-up in the flashing? Also after the flash is complete, do a hard reset. I've found that this helps to iron out small issues on other ROMS.
Regarding the virus, a lot of the ROM floating around has this virus in it. I'm not sure if it's a virus or not, but personally I always copy the ROM to the SD card and flash using Hard SPL and not CustomRUU.exe. That way I'm safe and theres less things that can go wrong.

I tried several times both flashing from memory-card and the normal way, but it's the same. Also after hard resetting. All the other roms Irun htc setup and installs htc apps the first time you run the system, but this rom doesn't. I appreciate your help, but I can't get the rom to work. Starting to get stressed out. I have to mail in the phone to service on monday..

Har lagt den inn via minnekortet nå, men det mangler fortsatt htc programvare. HTC Home f.eks. Og hsdpa innstillingspanelet, men jeg prøver å gjøre det så likt orginalen som mulig. Skal rapportere tilbake om hvordan det går med ubyttingen/reperasjonen.

I have succesfully installed new rom on my HTC Touch2 whit HardSPL, but it's still SIM locked on T-Mobile Montenegro. What can i do?
Everythig was restored like it was when it was bouth, but SIM lock is still here!
While installing new ROM the picture i have attached didn't appared like it should.
Unlike this picture where stands ''Serial'' on my phone just appead ''USB''
I'm really noob in this stuff and i just want to have unlocked SIM HTC Touch2, because in my country unlocking costs 40€.
Please help me.. Anyone..

pozdrav komšija! e3 ovako, to što ti prebaci sa serial na USB je normalno kad je bootloader rezimu i ukkljucis usb kabal u njega, a SIM otkljucavanje jos niko nije dao upustvo, i ja ga trazim... ako sta pronađem javim ti. pozdrav iz Republike Srpske!
