got my MDA-III today , but Ministumbler won't work.
Does anybody knows which Scanner/Sniffer works with
the WLAN Chipset in the MDA-III?

The killer WiFi app for Pocket PC is PocketWinC, somewhat expensive but really good and quick...
On the freware side of things WiFiFoFum has the crown!

PS: In fact, they only got the first box correct, the second box only touchscreen and camera correct, the last box is no good either... Well done, microsoft
they also say NEIN to bluetooth or qwerty keyboard so i assume that ja as a error...

Actually the description is correct, a qwertz keyboard means that every letter has its own key. there is no key for every single letter!
but more important is definetly the wi-fi or wlan "Ja", imo the touch dual has a wlan chip onboard, i think its only a reg thing to activate the option in the connection manager! but don't take me too serious, cause i don't have one.
even though i'd buy one if it had wlan for sure!
if anybody could check it and posted a reply, many thanks would be for sure!

Orange UK (the network) has the handset listed as 'non-Wi-Fi enabled' on our internal system. There are also no support pages for Wi-Fi listed from Microsoft/HTC

some guy named chainfire worked on this, but didn't have any luck, unfortunately. I would like to have wifi; it is just the ONE feature, which would make the device perfect for me... GPS is nice, but i got some in-car-navigation; i don't need it on my ppc as well...
<sigh>
I would even pay for the upgrade, if HTC would offer one....

Sure Hopes chainfire can figure it out..
I'm pretty positive it should be possible since the first models had Wifi, but the providers rather didn't have wifi since they want their 3G networks to be used..
So Technically I think it should be possible.. but will someone be able to figure out how to..
To be honest I'd rather have the GPS to function since I use GPRS with unlimited download to sync and surf
What do you pay for this?

I need to get an older version of wifirouter, the new ones dont work with my phone and i dont have any registration info for them either but the 0.92 i think it was, did work and no need for reg. info i lost the damn program and now im stuck, please, ive been looking for the post that had the program but i cant find it, any help

Ever since I've had WM6.1, I haven't been able to use Wifi Companion, does your work? I'm dying to use it, love how on the menu bar you have the wifi signal indicator, it's a must for when i'm at the park, etc.

Which GPS application does it not work with ?
i was with the same problem , and i solved it with and rom update , im my case PTR , but today i had to do and ard reset after the phone came crazy , but i works ok again.
but if any 1 know any way to activate it from the registry i think i was better
i think same operators block the internal gps, so thy have the gps option for the same model or if the phone its on an promotion it will not have gps, in my case i think was it , but on the box it say optional i star to look for information and i fond the update for the rom and test it , i was on this forum.

GPS hardware problem
Hi guys. I have the following problem. The GPS is working but is saying always low signal. I sent him to repair the earphone and since then is always saying that. I am thinking that is something covering the GPS which makes him with low sign. Anyone knows any video or any ideia where the GPS is physically. I need to open the phone and visualise if is anything wrong with the GPS hardware.
