Hi, Can anyone please help. I have an xda2 using t-mobile sim card. I cannot connect to the internet at all. Can someone please tell me exactly what settings I must adjust so I can have gprs access, e-mail etc. I am very new to this.

Hi im totally new to this so please bear with me. I have just purchased an XDA 2 unlocked , ive put my tesco PAYG sim in ( uses o2 settings it seems in my nokia).
1. if i try to access the phone settings it continually says "wait 15 seconds"
2. teso has told me there is no way I can get to use internet, in GPRS with it unless i go to o2, is this correct ?
All i really want is to be able to use my adrss book to dial and also to get my yahoo emails as I can with my Nokia phone.

hi
i have just bought a xda exec that is unlocked. i have a vodafone sim in it that i have taken out of my vodafone 3G data card.
i can send sms from the device but i can't use gprs / 3G
i have seen fourums on the net suggesting i need a cab file from i-mate, but unless you have an i-mate you can't get in.
i have also contacted vodafone, they suggested that i need a ROM update but wouldn't suggest where to get it.
Can anyone help me!!

I've got an Xda Exec and I've got no problems connecting to Vodafone GPRS/3G.
Im use the Tom Tom Navigator 5 with the Traffic information and I have no problems connecting.
Have you set up the ISP on your Xda Exec.
If you need the setting for the GPRS and the MMS for Vodafone send me a PM and I will provide you with the information.

I know if I unlock the phone my O2 card will work in there.
But how about internet and GPRS etc?
Do I still need to get extra settings for it?
And where do I get them ?

i got a o2 trion and but never configure it to use internet on t-mobile i call t-moble they dont know how either i dont know they lies or not but anyone out there know hwo to configure it for use with t-mobile??

It is of course nonsense that t-mobile do not know the settings - only they give minimal or non-existant help for phones not sold thru them.

Hi All,
I have the xda2s on payg and the settings for the net work fine.....I also have an xda exec (unlocked) which I would like to use on the net as well......I transferred the settings(and sim) from my xda2s to the exec but allthough I get a connection on the exec every time I type in an address it replies with "the page cannot be found check the name and try again"............the settings are identical to the 2s but no joy !! any suggestions please ?,
