20 XDA2 for sale - MDA II, XDA II, 2060 General

Hi,
We bought 20 of these on contract with O2, we received them yesterday and now found out without using the Widcomm stack we can't use BT PAN profile. We're going to buy out of our contract and sell these 20.
Is anyone here interested before they go on ebay.
I need to get a final cancel fee from BT but I'd think somewhere around the £340 mark + £10 pnp. All brand new un-opened in the box. They will be sim-locked to O2.
Let me know
Andrew

Are you selling all 20 together ?
I might be interested in a few but 340 is too much.

Did u think about put them Widcomm BT stack?

I would also be interested in a few not at £340...let me know?

You will be lucky to get £299.

Selling my MDAII

I am thinking about selling my MDAII. I got it through a employees arrangement at T-Mobile in the netherlands.
But I am wondering how much anyone is willing to offer for it!
Is there anyone interested?
I am but you need to put a value to it, also do you have/could you get the official MDA II carkit??
I haven't got the carkit. I do have: the MDAII, cradle, charger, activeSync software, leather protection case. It's only two weeks old.
I am wondering how much anyone would offer for it, so I can decide if i want to sell it or not.

I'm not interested myself as I already have a XDA II.
But I think you can ask around 550 - 600 euro for it if it's simunlocked.
Cheers
Marcel
MDA II Value
I saw on T-Mobile site Netherlands the MDA II is 139 Euro. I assume that is the price for the handset with a 1 year contract.
I do not know what the value of a 1 year contract with T-Mobile in the Netherlands is worth, but I was tempted to see how much it was and if they would ship to the US.
I also called T-Mobile US and they said they have no idea when or if they would carry MDA IIs over here.
I assume that even if it is locked it can be unlocked. I know I am doing a lot of assuming.
I guess you need to figure out how much 139 Euro + 1 year contract is worth.
MDA II
just go to Ebay.co.uk and check out the prices on there, the XDA II are going from anywhere between 350 and 600 pounds and thats brand new sim unlocked, I bought mine off there for 450 pounds, I imagine the MDA would go for the same.
Okay, thanks for your advice. Is anyone from the Netherlands interested in buying my unlocked device for 550 euros?

Best place to buy an XDAII?

Does anyone have any suggestions on where to by an XDAII? And which is better, an O2 XDAII or an IMATE? I see several auctions for O2 XDA II's on EBAY. I would assume I could buy one there and unlock it for T-Mobile..
I'm also leaning more towards O2 because of the announced ROM upgrade to support Blackberry functionality.. I would assume this would hopefully work with T-Mobile as well as the other blackberry devices software seems to be carrier independant.
What country do you live in and do you want contract or not?
That'll help find the best deal.
I got mine in the UK, phone cost £139 on £25 a month O2 contract
U.S. and I currently have a SIM with T-Mobile.
Can you tell me where I can buy the XDA 2 for £ 139 please
Car Phone Warehouse.
They are doing them for GBP139.99 on the O2 250 tariff and above. Check www.carphonewarehouse.co.uk for the latest deals. Their service is pretty good too, the only thing is the damn XDA II is like gold dust in the UK!!! You may have to wait till they get in stock.
xda 2

@adrenalin,
At 600 quid thas a damn good price! I-mate have the best support amongst all the distributors so even if you do have some issues, they will sort it out for you.
I know that it is a tad cheaper in the states, so that could be your second option.

MDA Pro or MDA Vario for sale

I'm about to sign a new contract with T Mobile and can get either a Vario or (for £150 more) another Pro.
So, I'll get whichever will make me the most money. Anyone interested in either? Please PM me your price. It'll be a very one-sided arrangement, however.
Paypal only :?
Will ship anywhere
Except Nigeria :x
Once payment has cleared
You can have it unopened, still with the seal on the box, or I can open it to test it for you
I will be buying this either the end of this week or Monday/Tuesday next week
If you want some level of buyer protection, I'll list it on ebay with a buy-it-now, but that'll add £25 quid to cover the fees + hassle.
I'm told T Mobile will unlock the unit after 1 month for a fee (around £15 or £20). If this is the case, I am happy to get the unlock code and pass it on at cost. If this is NOT the case, my MDA Pro is unlocked - make me an offer I can't refuse for it and i'll keep the locked unit
I wish you were getting an O2 Exec, so I can bid for it.
I like the color of the O2 Exec than the MDA Pro.

Hi,
Can u pls tell me the exact price with shipping and insurance included to India....I am interested....
For shipping, take a look at
http://sg.royalmail.com/servlet/acedispatcher?funcId=100&AceApplication=consignia&pageId=frameset
I'll insist on a signiture on delivery and onm £500 insurance.
Assuming India, Major Towns 1, and also assuming 1.3Kg (it should be less than that) between £11 and £30 depending on speed of service (air or surface mail).
I will use other major carriers, but only if they have a depot in Norwich, England.
Just had it confirmed that I will be able to get whichever handset I purchase unlocked to work with sims from any network, although this may take up to 28 days to receive. I could sell the mda pro I'm using right now, which is unlocked, if someone needs one urgently
Willing to sell my XDA Exec.
------edited-----
Same goes for my exec. Its boxed, sealed, never opened. Actually was purchased as a gift for my brother. He Liked mine so I bought another for him. Turns out he doesn't want it. So i'm stuck with a boxed one. Any takers?
£500 with full papers. Though I think it comes with UK/Europe limited warranty. Atleast mine did.
i'm selling a brand new mda pro with all the paperwork 2 make the warrenty valid for £500

Where to Purchase

I am with Cingular and refuse to sign another contract to get a phone...I prefer to get my phones without signing my life away.
I have done this with 3 phones so far an have been happy. No contract ext..... so I am seeing the 8125 go for just over 400 on Ebay.....anyone know why I can buy one for a good price.....maybe get some type a warr or at least someone to call....Ebay is so NOT personal....
Thanks for your help,
Biff
People over at Howard Forums swear by Mad Monkey Boy; he carries the Type 2 Wizards (i.e. Qtek 9100, iMate KJAM, T-Mobile MDA) which have slightly different exteriors than the 8125.
I think he was wanting something cheaper than $400.... That sight was showing the Wizard for $600 which you can buy locally for less than that. For best price check ebay and craigslist. I have noticed that the MDA is usually a little cheaper than the 8125 so if you do not care about the styling get the mda you can still put the 8125 rom on it if you wish.

People on HF must be smoking crack. It's cheaper on ebay AND locally.
That site looks terrible too btw.
I bought my Cingular 8125 in store and didn't renew/extend my contract at all. I just told them i wanted to buy it for $350 (it may be less now) which was the "buy me now" price and there were no problems.
got mine in march
paid £300 in total i ended up with:
MDA Vario brand new security seal etc
1GB mini sd
Tom Tom
Bluetooth GPS
and car pda holder which sticks to the windscreen
have you tried the new ebay express?
Thats where i bought my wizard from
Its always poppin there wizards at around $400, some with even free shipping.
Its not auction, its an online store with a real checkout cart, shipping notification and tracking number. And ebay gives you a free buyer protection for the FULL amount!
http://express.ebay.com
a quick search on "8125" showed me some phones around $400-$445 shipped. And since its the 8125 for cingular you wont need to unlock it.
If at the time you search you dont find good deals on 8125, try searching for "MDA"
Trust me, this is ---THE--- way to go if you want a brand new cheap wizard without extending contract.
I ended up picking mine up from a guy on Craigslist for $270
