I have been posting here for a little while now. Still my journey isn´t over . I am still looking for a free way to unlock this f**** phone. A Qtek S100 locked to Telia Sonera.
And:
Look at my specs below. Is there an upgrade that works for this phone anyware? If, where?

ROM date: 01/06/05
Radio version 1.05.00
Protocol version 1337.39
ExtROM version 1.06.116 WWE

qtek 1.11 rom is available on the qtek site / ftp here, so you shouldnt having a problem upgrading, there isnt however a free utility to unlock the device. It's either you call sonera and pay whatever they charge or use the services of imei check

Have you tried http://www.imei-check.co.uk/ to unlock your phone? They say they can unlock the Magacian...

Vpa + Bigstorage?

Is it possible to do the bigstorage job on the vodafone branded jam (vpa compact)? Rom V 1.11.00wwe
Radio v 1.11.00
Protocol 1337.42
Extr rom v 1.11.204 wwe
This is locked to UK Vodafone and that is the rom it came with so i've not changed it as yet like i did my my i mate.Is it just as simple (or not as the case may be) as following the instructions or is there something else i may bump into like country code errors etc.
Any help would be appreciated

Backup original ROM?

Hi! I´m a new owner of a HTC UNIVERSAL branded by the GSM spanish operator amena (in the future will be Orange). Now I want to upgrade to the last qtek rom, but i wanna make a backup of the original Amena rom. Can somebody sayme How I can do it??
The rom that I want make a backup is :

DATE: 11/25/05
RADIO: 1.06.00
PROTOCOL: 42.40.P8
ExtROM: 1.13.186
AMENA BRANDED

There are several solutions.
I had to use the enableRAPI/pdocread with my Qtek 9000, because everything else failed.

wow, your WAY out of date. go to the upgrading forum and choose one that has an IPL/SPL update. why not going to the ftp and getting the latest German T-Mobile rom?

From where can I get the original Imate K-Jam ROM

Hi,
I have a Imate K-Jam (G4) that is CID locked. I wanted to flash my phone with either WM6 or WM5 with HTC touch (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=1513275). But before I do, I wanted to keep the original ROM ready as a backup incase there is some problems.
Can someone pleased let me know which file do I need to download from ftp.clubimate.com for the same. Following are the details of my phone
ROM: 2.16.9.1 WWE
Radio: 02.07.10
Protocol: 413.1.03
ExtROM: 2.16.9.101
