Block calling a number?

Is there an application or Reg hack that can make it where i cannot dial a certian number or group of numbers from my phone? (WM5)

Search for callfirewall in the forum. (Only works for incoming not for outgoing calls.)

That app is called fixed dialing. It needs PIN2.

needs to be outgoing. thanks though

sim cards have 2 pins - pin1 & pin2.

ah, im on sprint so no sim. any other apps

I am using commercial software called MagiCall from mobiion. It can block incoming calls, sms and block outgoing calls as well. Read more from here http://www.mobiion.com/magicall.html

Dialing

is there a way to show the number you are dialing if it is a contact. My display does not until i completely dial and then show the number and area code.

if your using the HTC dialer it does. i don't know about winmo dialer tho. i'm guessing it does not, and that is what your using.

Contact info missing when dialing.

Hi guys,
Just got my TD2 a few days back.
However i noticed when im dialing a number, i do not see the number that i'm dialling. just the contact picture and that's it.
The name of the contact and number are all missing from the dialer while dialing.
Anyone has any solutions to this?? Thanks in advance!

[Solved] Selective Call Divert....

Hi all
Is there an application which can do the selective redirect of international number dialed?
For example, If i dial international number, automatically the call gets ended and after 5 or 10 seconds, the call is dialed using a calling card accounts toll free number?
Is there any program exist like this?

Gingerbread native VoIP only on WIFI

Hi,
I have flashed my phone with the new micromod gingerbread ROM and i'm testing VoIP (SIP) but it doesn't work on 3G
this native functionnality suck's

Well, as this module is in AOSP it should be quite easy to change this.
I guess Google couldn't allow SIP calls on 3G because of the operators.

It's open sourced, i'm sure someone will get it to work with 3g.

Anyway, it's great to have it integrated in the system.
I didn't test it extensively, but from what I saw it works well.

Question:
When you call out, what number does it show as caller ID?
Your cell number?
Google Voice number?
SIP number?
Other?

any progress on this?

caller id is transmitted / enforced by your voip provider... it has nothing to do with the sip client :/

My understanding as well.
To still get the free voip calling (via Gizmo5 or whoever else), we would still need to use the GVoice Callback hack/app to get an outgoing call to request an incoming call on the SIP line (if that makes sense). It would just now be answered by the stock phone app rather than a third-party application. Which should give better in-call volume than with sipdroid/csipsimple?

There is a solution to the problem.
Now we just need the devs to cook this into the rom.
