Hi guys just got a quick question really. Do you know of any programs/applications for the XDA II that allow you to search for available Bluetooth connections/devices in the area? I don’t mean pair or discover a device but more search like you can with wireless networks to see whats about. It’s just my mate’s powerbook does it and I wondered if my XDA II could? Thanks

I cannot find a Bluetooth NIC on my XDA II i searched on the net and found i should have something called Bluetooth PAN user driver on bluetooth enabled PDA's.
Is this another draw down point for the new XDA ?????

How can I install the bluetooth PAN User driver on my xda II, for those who wonder what is that, this is supposed to be the driver of the bluetooth NIC that should appear when you go to Settings->Connections->Network Cards, but for some reasons i can't find it on the XDA II.
Please Xda-developers if you have more info about this one tell me.

Hi,
I am looking to upgrade from a P800 to the XDAII.
One feature I like on the P800 is the voice dial through the bluetooth headset.
I'm reading that its not possible on the XDAII, is this correct?
(what a feature to miss)
If it is how do I go about doing it?
Also what software do you guys recommend for the phone, I'm going to have GPRS enable etc and like my gadgets.
Cheers,
Dave.

hi thanks..but thats for IPAQ... xda mini (qtek s110) dont have the bluetooth manager software...
is there anyway for htc phones ?
check around in the settings if the xda see the modem profile on the cellphone when you bound then then you can do it
if not maybe the bluetooth stack on the device dont support it
if not you can look into installing the vidcomm bluetooth stack on your device
if it's avalible for that device
Hello
can you guys tell me where the bluetooth transceiver is located on the xda exec?
This should be mentioned in the service manual (here on the ftp site). Somewhere close to the Mini USB
thanks for the reply
can you point me to the ftp link
i guess a seperate antenna is used for the bluetooth transceiver?
do you know if the antenna has an omnidirectional pattern?
do you know what version of the bluetooth is on the xda exec?
