Does anyone have the crack for tomtom2 navigator i have the genuine disc and code but have bought a new xda and the activation codes dont work on a new machine.ive been in touch with tomtom and they want me to fax allsorts to them but i dont have access to a fax machine so a crack is quicker.

Are you trying to get this board closed down? It has been requested that this board not be used to ask for or distribute cracked/pirate software, if you want to lose all the information that exists here, this is the way to go about it, there are numerous boards and p2p programs that have what you want, please respect the people that spend time keeping this forum up and running while charging nothing for their time and abilities.

If as you say that you have a ligit ver you can goto www.ttcode.com
and get a new install code for the TT if you have done this for your old xda you can fill in a form n the website to have this code turned off and a new code setup.
We use 5 xdaII's at work and we can install / uninstall our ligit software as we see fit by using this system

Please guys, I really need some help here.
Everyone is reluctant to help because this comes across like a warez request. If you own a legitimate copy of the maps then a hard reset shouldnt cause any trouble as your device ID and the numbers generated from it in the map data do not change.
You will have to sort this out for yourself. Maybe if this activation code generator doesnt work on vista, you should be looking for another 'tt7_kg'.
Oh I see your point. As I said Tomtom wont do anything to help as the code has already been entered if you will.
Never go with TomTom again as there customer support is terrible.

I have fixed it now, Took hours and hours digging through old paperwork to find the code.
Its just my america and canada maps arnt showing up on the device. I will have to figure that out at a later date.
Here in the netherlands the HD2 comes bundled with a trial version of CopilotLive 8
Preinstalled on the 2gig memory thing.
But I removed the Copilot sofware by accident. yeah that was a dumb thing to to. I figured I could download it again from the site.
I have baught the software with a licence number only.
So i cant get it anywhere.
Is there someone willing to help me.
I like to know where i can get the trial software again. So that i can enter the purchased licence code.

so we are at least tow people with a similar problem. i deleted the software after activating the trial, and the only chance i see so far to get it back is a hard reset. because then the software will be installed again out of the 'hidden' part of the rom. the only other chance was that some kind hd2 owner pm us for a copy of there copilot drawer on the device.

i WAS SO HAPPY WITH LIVE SERVICES ON MY HTC HD 2 , i got it after so long . I wanted to get my card available for wp7 but in the process to that i formated the card . Due to formation the windows files got deleted and now its not reactivating . guys please help me so i want a new activation code anyone so kind to give please "pm" me

You have to hard-reset WP7 for your old Activation code to work .

I was in the same situation as you are now. Set up Wp7 with 2gb sdcard, activated windows live, realized that 2gb are too low, installed again with 16gb card one day later. Activationcode didnt work then :O
But it worked after I unlocked my hd2 with chevron and this HOWTO: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=912218
So go for it and unlock it first that it will be reconized as HD7 and try again.
P.S.: I saw a thread somewhere in the wp7-hd2 section where a guy posted some activation codes.

If you already have your activation code then you don't need another.
Just re-flash WP7, re-unlock (also reg hack as HD7) then add live account and use same code.
If it doesnt work you are not entering code correctly.
If not re-phone support and get code again and explain your previous isn't working or get a new code for new live account.

Where did you store the code number? Or did they not email it to you? Call back the MS support that issued your code number, as when you gave them your details. Thats what they use to give you your own code number back.
You can only use your code 3 times. Then its back to them with your detials, to get a new number.

If you feel you need a new code then get one, it's very easy.
Go to Microsoft helpdesk website (Google it). Click get support, click general help (I clicked the windows 7) then chat, then simply state that you are setting up your windows phone 7 and it's asking for an activation code, they wanted a name and who made my phone (HTC) then gave me the code. Even said if there was a problem to chat back for another one hope this helps

Especially given that they have been kind enough to let us use the codes we obtained illegally!
There is a code generator. I know where. . At Microsoft office.
To the main point.It's not hard to get the activation code through:
-E-Mail
-Chat
-Call
I did it through e-mail.

I dont think theres much difference between having a key generator and lying to Microsoft about what phone you have.
Just email Microsoft tell them the truth about what you are doing and ask for a key. I did and they sent me a key no problem.

Actually I didn't lie .
The agent asked me what the brand of my device was . I told him it was an HTC .

If anyone thinks that Microsoft Corporation is not aware of this sudden need for activation keys they are deluding themselves. Whether all customer service personnel are aware of this situation is of course another matter entirely. But, if anyone did develop a key generator, that would really be stepping over a line in the sand that I highly doubt Microsoft would easily overlook.
Microsoft have took a light approach to us HD2 users using WP7 on our handsets.

What on earth were you thinking creating this thread for in the first place. Sorry but it is damaging to XDA.
You can't create a keygen because in the help central they create random keys and register it in their database, only after this registering you can enter this key and activate your phone..

replied to that question at the manual thread.
I emailed Microsoft and said i had an hd2 and i wanted an activation code and they said that they don't support the hd2.
So i guess im SOL because i can't get it to work in the chat as well
who needs a keygen when you can just call them?

When youre telling them that you dont own a windows phone 7 device its your fault. You have to tell them that youre using a HD7 and for live services your phone must "look" like a hd7

All you have to do is tell them you just got a new windows phone (don't say HD7 yet) and need an activation code for access to marketplace, games, etc. And they going to need your information. Give them your real information, and when they ask what device is it, tell them you have HTC HD7. And you know the rest. This is my second time (Feb. 20, 2011) I called them when I lost my first activation code.

People have had luck getting a code via e-mail, but I don't see what the big deal with calling is.

I always use the chat option. It took me last week 5 minutes to obtain a code.
Just behave as someone who is troubled by a strange question on the screen of your phone: a kind of activation code is asked??? I can't find this in the manual???
You'll see, you'll receive your code almost instantly.

MICROSOFT support even suggests to get a new activation code when this happens, so it shouldnt be a big deal.
I'm trying to get an activation code, and either I'm losing my mind entirely or Microsoft's UK website keeps re-directing me away from their contact details. Each time I get to the relevant page it part loads, then goes to a page recommending I contact the manufacturer or carrier about any problems.

That code was only good for so long as it was used by one user. By sharing it, it was rendered invalid.
You have to get your own code via chat. It's easy to do.
can someone give here a link to the chat page to ask for activation code?

keep calling and trying. it was also this easy for me. no questions asked. make sure you say it's an HD7. NOT HD2.
