Bluetooth and XDA (I)???

Can I do something to my XDA to be able to use bluetooth ??? Help
I know that Socket (and possibly others) sell SDIO BlueTooth adapters (do a Google search for "SDIO Bluetooth card"), but since I do not have (and have never had) an XDA, I cannot confirm that it will work. This is the only way I know of to get BT on an XDA.
no the xda1 dont have SDIO support
a dongle could be made but it would require the buttom connector used and that would mean it was xda1 only and that would leave a rather small market for it and a pretty high price aswell

Ahhh . . . I didn't know that. Sounds like another reason to upgrade to an XDA II!

Newbie With a Himalaya

Hello, this is my first post, and as you can see in the topic it's my first himalaya, i have bought a used himalaya (M1000) A.K.A. XdaII with a broken screen , i have bought one Digitizer & LCD screen so i can't wait until it arrives so that i can play with it .
I have found this site when i was looking for a way to open the Pda, so i registered and i have found one huge comunity that i am glad to be apart, hope i can help somebody later when i know a bit more about this awsome machine.
So i would like ask for help to all you guy's and gal's, what should i install when i have repaired the Pda? What O.S. (wm 2k5 or wm 2k3 se), what cool apps and i am thinking of buying an sd card for wireless (to do a bit of war driving, and surf the net at home) so i would also like to know what kind of sd card are compatible with the himalaya, i have read that the scandisk with 256 mg isn't compatible in the 2k3 se but is it compatible in the 2k5 :? ??
Well thank's to all that read this post !

Andes is also xda2i?

It said in the descriptions that the Andes is also sold as xda2i? But Alpine has the exact same description. Can anyone tell me how to tell the difference? And if indeed I own an "Andes", would I be able to use the Himalaya Rom Upgrades?
Thanks
yeah same thing confuses me too, did u find answers?
i have both a xda2 and a xda2i, the 2i has wifi, a more powerful cpu and more memory.
but is essencially the same but it cannot take a xda2 rom. due to its differances.
