I use PocketIE for browsing on my Qtek 2020. As the Qtek has a 65K color screen, how do I improve the picture quality of images in PocketIE as at the moment they look heavily compressed.
well the res of pda's is rather small compared to the res of a pc
so if the page was made for a pc then the pictures are pretty small
but on a pda they are rather large which mean you'll notice jpg compression faults much more then you could on a pc

does 640x480 resolution actually allow you to see more text vs 320x240?? Or is it still the same crap as Blueangel, just sharper ?
i find that at the smallest acceptable zoom, in landscape mode, i can see only about half the page width on blueangel.
Anyone here with the experience of using the X7500 with a projector. With the resolution it offers will e.g. powerpoint images become choppy?
Hello,
I use the Ameo very often with a projector. You must build the PPT Images with 640*480 resolution otherwise they will become choppy.

Thanks bigsmart. I understand you mean when I create my presentation I need to use the 640*480 resolution. I realize this is not a powerpoint users guide, nevertheless I have two questions:
1. How do I build the images with 640*480 resolution?
2. If I receive or inherit an old presentation, how do I then handle it? Save as pdf and show?
Thanks!
Im curious, is there a video output for the mogul, or a way to get a video signal out?? would like to plug into my indash screen if possible
Yes its kinda expensive.

Has anybody actually used or seen this before?
Yeah, I've seen this before.
You can get them for less than that.
But it doesn't do what you're thinking... its not a "video out" in the way that you're picturing it. The mogul's graphics hardware does not support the 1024X768 resolution this claims to give you, nor does it support external video out at all.
Unfortunately, the Windows Mobile OS does not support alternate video hardware, so you're stuck with whatever graphics hardware is embedded in your device, and no SDIO add on is going to change that.
What this does, however, is project slides for presentations. Using special software on your PPC, you can import a powerpoint or similar presentation, and send the slides to this card which can then display them on a larger screen.
Basically, your PPC can replace a laptop for presentations, and you can control the slides from the touch screen.
What this will not do, however, is display whatever is on your screen currently. It only receives still images (or stills with slight animated components perhaps) from the software installed.
Hope that clears things up...
Meanwhile, if you want your mogul's output to appear on an external computer monitor, you can always use Ateksofts' webcam plus. One of the options is to capture screen output, which will effectively put the contents of your screen onto a nearby windows desktop. But this is not the same thing, really.
You guys inspired me to try this.

video captured of my PC Monitor playing video out from my mogul in real time. Its on the slow side, but it works, especially for doing a presentation that doesn't require a lot of motion.
Write up of the software here:

Hi!I want to ask,is it possible to take photos in 1920x1080 resolution with 3.2mpx camera of my Diamond.Maybe there is some kind of software.I want to make photos in that resolution because I have Sony LCD TV and it is Full HD (1920x1080) and when I connect my phone through the USB I see my pictures with black frame, not in full screen. They are just diffrent resulution 2048x1536.
No way!
I'm afraid not my friend... the camera gives what it gives. You can make the pictures larger with photo editing software, but you'll notice a huge reduction in picture quality
Was very disappointed with the camera's quality, but recently transferred some photos onto my computer, and they look at least 10 times better.
Does anyone else have this problem where pictures viewed in mediascape do not zoom in properly? I take photos of notes and stuff, and it's near impossible to read the words on the phone, but on the computer, it's fine.
It's as if the phone does not use the full jpg, but just a thumbnail the size of the phone's screen. Don't know how many photos I've deleted thinking they were blurry
Use JustPictures from the market.
Seems to be better than mediascape.
