Radio Newbie Question

I have a Siemens SX56 using AT&T Wireless as a carrier.
The phone is running the following:
ROM Verison: 3.14.03 ENG
ROM Date: 09/27/02
Radio Version: 6.12
Protocol Version: 324e4
I was wondering if this is the newest radio version and software ROM version I can use. I went to O2's site and found other versions, but being new to the xda, I don't want to screw things up. Any help would be greatly appreciated. :shock:

You sould not use an european rom en radio on an american device.
Because your radio is 900/1900 band and the european is 900/1800 band.
You may be able to use the rom update but I'm not sure, but you can not use the radio update.

Is there any list anywhere that describes the difference between the versions?

I have and Asian O2 XDA and have flashed my RSU with a 4.21, I think its the euro version since I put it on before the 7/30/2003 and I didn't get it from MMO2 Asia (I can't remember where I got it from).
Can I flash back to the Asian 4.21? The RSU 4.21 I currently have doesn't have Wmodem but I see on the asian web site the asian 4.21 does.

The latest release of software for an O2 xda is
ROM version: 3.20.06 ENG
ROM date: 07/30/03
Radio: 4.21
Protocol: 32S54
Please note that after upgrading the XDA to Radio 4.21, you will not be able to revert to the previous radio software version.

i notice that device from hong kong comes with radio ver:10513a0
and decives from europe comes with radio ver: 10512a0
does there is any diffrent, does there is any update for radio ?
why the shops selling old radio ver ??

Radio stack for russia

I dont khow what is radio stack and what it for, but i have a problem. I am living in russia, so i got bad singnal on fone, is it the problem of radio stack? Currently i god RS version 3.07, will RS ver 6.25.02 support in Russia? Thanks
