GPRS Setting for Vodafone in the Netherlands

Anybody knows the GPRS setting for vodafone.
I tried the settings as supplied by vodafone, this doesn't work

It explains the trick to use the Dutch Vodafone GPRS mode.

daar naar use specefic IP address

A.P.N. : web.vodafone.nl
klik op finish
en dan op ok
weer terug naar modify bij de eerste optie
daar is de optie vodafone aanwezig
daarop klikken
naar advanced
specific ip terug zetten naar use server-assigned ip
op ok klikken
dan next dan weer finish
dan naar de 2de optie
daar naar new...
voor de connection invullen : vizavi
zelfde verder als eerste optie
het meeste zal er wel al staan zoniet alles precies als boven
dan naar dailing locations

dan naar dailing patterns
for local calls : G
For long distance :G
for international : G
dan naar ok
weer terug gaan naar connections en dan bij de eerste optie op connect klikken
gebruikersnaam : vodafone
wachtwoord : vodafone
domain leeg laten
je hebt kans dat hij het een 2de keer vraagt weer hetzelfde invullen en dan gaat hij vanzelf verder.
als hij lang zoekt, gewoon bovenaan het venster op ok klikken en in het connection venster op hide, gek genoeg maakt hij dan opeens heel snel verbinding.....

It doesn't work for me.
Somtime's it says i'm connected, but that is all, i can't do anything
on the The Net, and nothing with my e-mail .......
I've have the settings like posted above, but it doesn't do anything.
My XDA is unlockt, and i have a Vodafone Live GPRS "abbo"..
Can any1 help me please, ill would be great....

Are you sure you upgraded to the latest ROM versions ?
A new (out of the box) XDA is not very good at GPRS without upgrading ...

I have Radio v. 4.16 an ROM v. 3.15.
But it works now for me, i did ask the same thing on a other forum
on http://www.pocketpc-club.nl/forum/index.php and someone said
that he used APN : live.vodafone.com instead of web.vodafone.nl
(since i have a VodafoneLive contract it makes sence dont you think ? )

geen gratis alternatief, of je moet een open relay vinden ofzo
Kijk eens of je provider gee smtp auth ondersteund, leg dit voor aan quicknet, hier in het nederlands blaten op een engels forum heeft niet veel zin

There is no Dutch T-Mobile official rom around and your device is probably CID-locked, so you can't repair your device yourself, you have to send it to T-Mobile.
This method will take a few days. They will send you an envelope where you can put your phone in. After 2 days you will receive your phone again, working this time.
Since I guess the topicstarter's English isn't the best around, I'll translate this text in Dutch also:
Er is geen Nederlandse T-Mobile rom beschikbaar om te flashen. Je kunt dus zelf dit probleem niet oplossen, je telefoon is namelijk CID-locked.
Het enige wat je kunt doen is T-Mobile bellen. Zij sturen je dan een envelop waarin je je telefoon kunt opsturen. Na een paar dagen ontvang je hem alweer gerepareerd terug.

heeft iemand z`n eigen toestel al verstuurt naar t-mobile
3 week terug gekocht dus ik zit nog binnen garantie termijn, maar ik heb hem zelf kapot gemaakt (door te rom flashen ) komt er dan geen kosten bij ? ;

Gewoon bellen, zeggen dat ie gek doet en niet meer op start en dan in de envelop opsturen die hun je opsturen. Ik had de mijna na 1,5 uur, JA ECHT ZO SNEL!, al om zeep door een verkeerde flash en gewoon opgestuurd. Tot mijn verbazing had ik hem netjes terug na 5 dagen met verse firmware. 0,0 kosten, super service! Ik had er alleen een paar andere klachten bijgezet die niet zijn behandeld, maar wel echt waren. BT Stereo audio werkt nog steeds niet goed

Hi all I had a question reffering to all the dutchies here.
Could someone post al there manila files, cause I'm missing some tabs on my screen and would like them all and in dutch if possible
So that would be 15 manila files
hopefully some dutch can post it

Sorry maar dit heb ik uiteraad al gevonden en geinstalleerd alleen heb ik het probleem dat er een aantal tabbladen niet op me scherm komen. Waaronde de originele : weer , aandelen , internet, mail enzo.
Terwijl ik ze wel kan aanvinken met diamond config en etc.
Dus vandaar dat ik vraag of iemand alle 15 ze wil posten van zijn HD . Zo dat ik me tabjes weer heb.

Wat voor mij werkte: harde reset, zodat alle custom troep eraf is. Dan de 15 tabs erop en met daimond config dit ordenen. Alle thema' erna zorgen er weer voor dat je enkele tabs weer kwijt bent, maar deze kan je dan weer terug kopieeren zodat je ze na een reset weer terug hebt.

Ai een harde reset heb ik eigenlijk niet zoveel trek in . Heb opzich 11tabs maar zou graag die standaard tabs terug willen of 1 of andere manier

TF3d uitzetten, kopieeeren met resco of total commander en tf3d weer aan. Werkt dit niet dan echt een harde reset geven.

The problem seems to be that the configuration possibility of tabs (display and order) in the settings tab is gone after installation of the 15tabs-tweak...
I now have 13 tabs, missing two.. and I can't find where to select what tabs to show / hide in the 3dflow...

So for the 11 first applications there is also a registry key which defines what is shown no matter what you do in Advanced Config/DiamondTouchFlo Config or in the 26948339_manila file.
After that there are no restrictions.
Here's how I got the icons in order:
(0. Use a registry editor to edit: HKCU\Software\HTC\Manila (in case you disabled icons you want back now))
(1.) Use a registry editor to edit: HKLM\Software\HTC\Manila\Configuration
From 0 to 10 you have specify the icon order. This might help:

(2.) Edit the 26948339_manila file(extracted from the original cab). You don't have to change anything from 0 to 10 as it is neglected (due to the registry settings).
(3.) Put the 26948339_manila into the windows folder (using Total Commander...). Stop TouchFlo before you do this.

T-mobile vario 1 ROM update failed, now hangs on 3 collor screen

Hello all, This is my first experience in the field of palm' s e.d, and are also absolute no comp. wizz, but I will try to explain step by step what my problem is, and how the problem orriginated.(excuse my bad english)
I have taken over a older simlock free t t-mobile MDA vario (1st model, none 2.3 etc.)device, and after I connected the divice with Windows divice center for the first time on my vista laptop (acer aspire 7520) for synchronisation, the WMDC prog gave. the recommendation for installation of the microsoft onenote program on my vario. This i carried out, instalatie succeeded etc.. When I wanted to use my vario the next day, it started up til the white t t-mobile screen, and got stuck there, and its starting up efry 2 the minuts to the same screen (loop). Asked advice on a forum, and got the recommendation for soft reset and later a hard restet. No results, exactly the same. later i got recommendation to do Romupdate in the boat charger mode,

(I'm also new in the field of forums, each tip is welcome) The Above i have carryd out on xp machine with activesync 4.5 with the orginele softwareupdate of the t-mobile website: http://www.t-mobile.nl/persoonlijk/htdo… pdate.aspx these ran to 95 proc. afterwards I got the report: this ndf file can not be used on your pda, please verify ndf file. update demolished (cancelled) what i saw is that activesync did not find the apparatus, and no was connection achieved with activesync. Also that moment no simkaartwas in machine, this is important? Now the apparatus no longer reacts to the onn/off button, and if I lay him to the charger, he jumps right on the three colour screen, with the following text: IPL 1.03 RUU SPL 1.03 If I connect the apparatus to the charger, it jumps on directly, to the the same 3 collor screen. Hardreset have also no result, it jumps right on the same three colour screen. Also the right led (orange) works no longer,(the charger led). (other leds also nothing, of course) O.K.,this is the complete tale. Have I made an expensive brick of my divice, or can i still rescue it? how do i find the richt software update? Warranty is expired, and i also no longer have a t-mobile abbonement so las legal advice can also be applyed.Please simple simple step by step recommendation.

Houdt hiervoor de cameratoets vast en druk met de stylus in het resetgaatje. Houdt de cameratoets ingedrukt. Als het goed is zie je nu drie gekleurde balken op je scherm (rood, groen & blauw). Je zit nu in de bootloadermodus. Sluit je toestel via een USB-kabel aan op je PC en start de update op. Waar je wel rekening mee moet houden is het volgende: - gebruik een PC met Windows XP en activesync 4.5. Met vista werkt het niet (eigen ervaring) - sluit het toestel direct aan op een USB-poort dus niet via een HUB - Zorg ervoor dat je batterij voor minstens 50% geladen is." Einde quote (ben ook nieuw op gebied van forums, elke tip is welkom) Heb bovenstaande uitgevoerd op xp machine met activesync 4.5 me de orginele softwareupdate van T-mobile : http://www.t-mobile.nl/persoonlijk/htdo ... pdate.aspx deze liep tot 95 proc. daarna kreeg ik de melding : this ndf file can not be used on your pda, please check ndf file. update afgebroken (geannuleerd) wat me opviel is dat activesync het toestel niet vind, en geen connectie tot stand bracht. Ook zat er op dat moment geen simkaart in, is dit van belang? Nu doet het toestel niets meer met de aan/uit knop, en als ik hem aan de lader leg, springt hij gelijk op het driekleurenscherm, met de volgende text: IPL 1.03 RUU SPL 1.03 als ik het toestel uit doe terwijl het aan de lader ligt, springt het weer aan op hetzelfde scherm, als ik hem loskoppel van de lader, kan ik hem uitdoen met de aan/uitknop, en springt hij niet meer aan. Hardreset heeft ook geen result. springt gelijk op zelfde driekleurenscherm. Ook brand de rechter led (oranje ) niet meer, aan de lader. (andere leds ook niets, natuurlijk) O.K., heel verhaal. Heb ik een dure baksteen gemaakt, of is er nog redding? hoe kan ik er achter komen wat dan wel de goede software update is? Radioupdate o.i.d nog mogelijk? Graag stap voor stap eenvoudig advies. Maak trouwens geen gebruik meer van T-mobile abbonement, en garantie is volgens mij ook verlopen, misschien is dit van belang voor jullie advies.

Well your device can still be saved, you should try the steps below.
1. Put your device in bootloader (3 colored screen)
2. Connect your device using USB to your pc running WindowsXP and Activesync 4.5
3. Try running the RUU again.
If it fails again:
4. Check if your battery is still living (mine was allmost dead and I could not flash it.
5. Try a tutorial from this forum for SID unlocking your device.

The part I didn't get is the NBF file error.. Perhaps you downloaded the wrong ROM?

and try button rom, before you flash any other rom. Maybe your wizard is not unlocked completly, therefore read the post in the link above
