Notification icon and Wisbar - MDA II, XDA II, 2060 General

I'm using Wisbar (advance) and the notification icon is invisible. Is it a way to display the envelope icon to indicate a SMS or a missed call when Wisbar is running?

not yet but Chris @ wisbar advance might get a solution

I faced the same problem and couldn't find a solution so unfortunately have opted to stop using WisBar even though it has features I like.

what program is this??

What program changes the colors for the top and bottom menu bars? I like the look of the bars,
Also, does any one know how i can hide the bottom menu bar?
I searched alot but cannot find how.
I believe that would be WisBar or WisBar Advance.

hiding toolbar icons?

the battery icon disappears when you launch a program and im wondering if there is a way to also hide the speaker, evdo icon and activesync in the same manner the battery disappears and reappears when you open/close a program.
can these icons be auto-hidden like battery?
if anyone uses WkTask you'll know why.. i think it would be better for more room/space for tabs.. i don't see a point in showing these icons when you're working on active tasks.

...if you are using WkTask you can allow it to cover those icons:
manage the size of the "Offset from the right edge" option in first preferences tab, try to decrease that number!!

disabling email/sms/missed-calls notification on menu bar

hi,
does anybody know how to completely disable the notification for emails, sms and missed calls?
to be clearer: i do not mean the notification bubbles which can be disabled through settings. i mean the notification icons which appear on the menu bar.
any ideas? thanks

Do you mean the HTC Home icons?
i think what he means is the icons that shows up on the top bar along with the start icon, beside the connectivity icon..
here's a snap of it..

Ah yes, you are right!
I think that's the system feature and cannot be disabled.
if you have a look on some today screen replacements (e.g. todaylife) they can suppress the notification icon
mmh todaylife is a net application that sits over the todayscreen, so the notification are still there.
... but they are hidden, i guess? because the author has also rewritten/reskinned the complete top bar. so i can't imagine that the author would allow that notification-icons would popup as they wish.
ya I wish there was a way to get rid of those also
I would imagine (not knowing the particulars), that you would need to hook into the notification message loop and disable from there.
this might be a workaround:
replace those notification icons with pure black icons.
i am not skilled enough to do that, as i think it is the same hazzle like you have when replacing the start-icon on the top bar...

But what about theme usage? On for example blue theme this would be a black square there
sure. that's why it is a workaround and might not be applicable to all users
but at least for black theme users like myself
theres a way....programs like photocontactpro and smsfilter have the option to stop text messages from showing up. don task me how....but they do the magic some how
try wisbar advance 3 (wa3)

Missed call notification line-Manila 2.53

After updating my TD2 to manila 2.53, there is no missed call notification on today screen as it was in manila 2.1. There is only a small icon on top and the blinking LED which are not very easy to catch.
Any solution to bring back the old missed call line back, just above or below the calendar line?
Thanks in advance.

There is a fine tweak that will add additional shortcuts as well as customization of calendar and call history called "cookies home tab". Check it out.
thanks
Thanks a lot mate. This solved my problem.
