help guys, i want to upgrade my rom and change my radio version because i um running on a 4.0.11 ENG rom and 3.21.00 radio version. I tend to get low signal and my phone won't vibrate.
btw, we have 900/1800 frequency here

Can someone tell the frequency of T-Mobile Rom Version 4.00.10 ENG, , Radio Version: 6.24.00? I'm planning to flash the new ROM and Radio 6.24 to my Singapore XDA (GSM900/GSM1800 Dual-Band). I don't know if it works.
I am currently using WM2003 with ROM version 4.00.01 & Radio Stack 4.21 from O2.
Is there any need to upgrade?
I saw around ROMs up to 4.00.16. Can anybody tell me the difference?
Also any reason to update to Radio higher on Vodafone Italy network (900/1800)?

I am having trouble getting signal with my SX56 Siemens PPC.
I can`t figure out why I am not able to see any bar signal strengths and get the GSM part of the XDA is work. Also I tried changing the Frequency setting with bandswitch.exe to 900/1800 and still no difference.
Woud changing the frequency with the bootloader be a better method?
I have used three types of ROM versions and two RSU version to no avail.
1, Rom version A.20.17 - Radio A.20.10
2, Rom version 3.17.03 - Radio A.20.10
3, Rom version 3.20.6 Eng - Radio 4.21.00
4, Rom version 3.17.03 ENG - Radio 4.21.00 <<<<current settings which I might add are fantastic, great work xda-developers.
I have tried calling my service provider, but no help there.
Any help would be great.
I am located in Australia if that helps.

Can anyone help me to choose the best ROM and Radio version for GSM900/1800 networks. I use cooked 4.00.05 ENG ROM and qtek radio 3.25.00. Is this right choise?

I would like to upgrade my ROM.At present I have the qtek version 3.18.04 ENG Radio 3.25.00
The RSU 3.25 is so good for Qtek if it has no calls problems. For The ROM, you can check Stefan kitchen ... it has the best collection of ROMs.

Devenson, if you are not having problems with your radio stack I would leave it alone.
What does the radio rom do?
I have a P3600 from Swisscom with rom v.1.23.170.3 and Radio rom 1.29.00.01. Should I upgrade the roms, both? What are the advantages?

radio rom is the firmware of the gsm mobile of phones
and in general should not be changed unless one exp problems
