I do not have a linux machine and cannot create what is needed to update to the special edition rom.
My question is does anyone have an image of a completed one for an ATT SX56 that they could email to me?

I have downloaded the xdaunlock.exe file to unlock my Austrian T-Mobile MDA (you say XDA ;-)) - but when I start the programm the message tells me "error getting unlock code" - did I anything wrong? Can anybody help me please????
Also I would like to ask if anybody of you is so nice and could send me the Special Edition ROM v1.2???

Are you using a serial cable or USB for XDA Unlock? It will ONLY work with the serial cable.

if you want to use xdaunlock.exe you must have rom version 3.17 with the wireless raido functionality.
if you install the special edition rom you will have this version

I am very sorry - but I have no idea what I have to do. I have my XDA - 3.0.12039 (Build 11178) and I have a USB cable - no serial one.
Please community - what do I have to do?
1.) Which file should I download to unlock my XDA?
2.) Could I download it with my normal PC?
3.) Could I transfer the file with my USB docking station?
4.) Is there a risk for me that my XDA crashes?

I recently updated to the new Cingular ROM (RUU_Wizard_225111_22511102_022511_CWS_WWE_Ship.exe) and I am now having Bluetooth problems that make this device unusable for me. I want to install the previous ROM version but don't know where to get it. I would greatly appreciate anyones help on this!

I've been trying to use my BA's GPRS connection to connect my pc to the internet. After looking up in the wiki I figured that I need the Internet Sharing program which is not present in my installed ROM :Helmi WM5 AKU3.2
I wanted to know if there's any location I can download it from ?
I tried downloading the latest WM5 ROM from the wiki but to my bad luck, the thing I wanted wasn't provided in the EXTROM.
well...I really don't have the wits to install another ROM.

Try doing a search in the WM6 forum for windows live cab it's quite often linked as an add-on to some of the custom roms or try here

Can anyone please give me instructions on how to flash the generic UK rom to my X1i using my mac? I have searched and can not make heads or tails of the information I am finding. I think i have found that it is possible to do it from the sd card but I just cant figure it out or what programs I need.
