I'm running an XDA2, with a Sandisk WiFi card. After much messing about, I finally got my XDA2 and PC to communicate, well, recognise each other. I now have two problems which I would welcome any advice on;
1) Can I activesync wirelessly? NOT through bluetooth, but through WiFi?
2) I've read some other postings confirming the possibility of utilising my broadband connection to my PC through the WiFi card, thus allowing my XDA2 to browse the 'net. The problem is, how do I set this up?
Thanks, in advance...........
Hi
I want my XDAIIi to connect over GPRS and WiFi at the same time - I use the WifI connection to connect to my laptop so I can project the screen, and I use GPRS to connect to some demo systems.
I've done this sucessfully with the IPAQ 6300, but on the XDAIIi the Wireless Manager seems to let me connect GPRS or WiFi, but not both.
Is there any way round this?
Thanks
so.. ivd got this wired soft. that uses a network connection (via ip) to a pc, not a activesync connection. I have a bluetooth Dongle, so can i obtain a network conection betwen my pocket and PC? (without a network card for the ppc)
How do i connect my spv m500 with the livebox thru bluetooth?
Is there a beter connection manager?
Please help, sorry for my bad English
What's a livebox?
it's a WIFI router specific for a DSL provider in the Netherlands named Wannadoo 8)
TheChef, you cant make a connection with the Livebox directly, because it's WIFI and the S100 supports only Bluetooth. What could be done is to connect the Livebox with a LAN to Bluetooth router and connect it to the RJ45 pot on the box (I believe there are some on it). Or use a WIFI SD card in your S100, there are several out there.
good luck!
The Wanadoo livebox supports bluetooth
my mistake, my neighbours have one, but they wherent aware of the fact that it does support bluetooth, sorry
but..... can you see the router when you try to scan for new devices with your SPV?
sometime i do see it and sometimes i don't, very anoying
When your phone is on top of the box, does it find it more often? maybe it does use an internal antenna which is loose? :?
my s100 has bluesolei stack
and my livebox has the new firmware with bluetooth support...
press the reg button under at the livebox.
at direct your pda(pan connection) and it works
btw i can reache a connection over 15 metre with a few walls
Yes it worked. look at this Threat

Hi.
I haven't find any topics on serch so decided to write...
I have a Toshiba notebook with WiFi inside and without Bluetooth card. So yesterday i've connected my Qtek 9100 with my notebook. The connection was unstable but strong. I've made Computer-Computer connection without Wi-Fi point.
So can anyone tell me can i use gprs as a modem for my notebook by WiFi?
Thnx.
Don't think so unless you can find some sort of proxy software that runs on the phone.
Or do you mean use the internet on the phone via the computer, over wifi?
