i just bought my new xda, and after I take a look it the rom version is 3.02.00 ENG (05/27/02) and the radio version is 4.01 and I read in the web that my xda is for european market....
since i live in Indonesia (Asia) I want to ask everybody here, is it possible to upgrade to version 3.17 (for asian xda) ?
I ask the authorized reseller in here if it possible to upgrade but they don't guarantee and afraid it will not work...

I have upgraded the radio stack to 4.14
I want to upgrade the rom from 3.12.07 eng to latest.

:lol: Maybe you already know this, but the Dutch O2 site offers a upgrade to Rom v3.17.03 and Radio v4.12. I'm currently downloading this version so I can't tell what's new so rest will follow !
You mean Radio 4.21 probably, not 4.12...
:shock: Sorry, type-error. I didn't see on the O2 site what's improved in this version. I hope less 'No signal' messages !!

This may have been answered before ... but i am very new to this ... so bear with me! What I have is an O2XDA II:

ROM Date: 09/24/03
Radio: 10513A0
Protocl: 133713Q
Quite simply i have been plagued with issues and i assume a ROM update will fix most of them. Which ROM update is recommended for North America on the Rogers Network in Canada? Can someone post a "how too" for this ROM? And lastly is it recommended to upgrade to Windows 2005 at this point!

sorry mate dont have that rom, if your still having no luck why not email o2ireland support and see if they can direct you, you have nothing to lose, and most of those guys are quiet sound, blame it on your little brother

I've been waiting ages for the T-Mobile UK ROM upgrade for the HD2 but nothing has appeared on the HTC downloads page as yet, even though Vodaphone, Orange and the generic one seems to be available. I get the feeling that T-Mobile won't be releasing the update
Anyway, I've been looking thru the stickies on XDA-Dev and found a ROM update for branded T-Mobile called RUU_Leo_TMO_UK_3.14.110.1 which I am now downloading
Is this an unofficial update? Or maybe a pre-release from T-Mobile?
More importantly, is this safe to install? My specs are:
Manila: 2.5.20121429.0
ROM: 1.72.110.4 (86525) WWE
ROM date: 04/02/10
Radio: 2.07.51.22_2
Protocol: 15.32.50.07U
I've been hanging around confused on the XDA-Dev forums on and off for the last 6 months or so. I'm pretty apprehensive about installing anything ROM-based for fear of bricking my lovely HD2. I don't wanna get a new one as I'm not even halfway thru my 24-month contract!
Anyway, hope you can help. I hate sounding like such noob. I fix PCs for a living, but this is doing my head in!!
The RUU_Leo_TMO_UK_3.14.110.1 is a leaked UK T-Mobile stock ROM.
Don't worry, this rom will not brake your device, I have uploaded these rom sins 2011-01-06 and in the meanwhile it was bean downloaded 293 times without anyone mentioned that thy have a problem.
