2003 ROM works with Vodafone at least. Quite well too.
I'm using Kitchen's 4.00.11 without problems on Netcom in Norway.

I'm about to buy an XDA and I was wondering it there might be a problem taking a German XDA and flashing it with and english rom.
As far as I read out there, usign the SD method there shoudln't be any problem at all.... just to be sure, because my german is very, very bad!!! :shock:
BTW, right now both TIM and Vodafone are selling XDA in Italy. Is there any Italian version of the roms?

No problem, I used the WM 2003.exe version from the web as well as the ROM-kitchen on a german xda (ROM 4.00.01 ENG, Radio 4.21.00), both work out fine.
Be prepared to be unable to restore your backup-files when you upgrade from PPC 2002 to WM/PPC 2003.

I did an upgrade from my germany O2 XDA ( 64MB ) from 3.14.x to WM2003 and 3.17.03 and 3.19.01. No problem. I made a backup from my original rom on a SD card. Just in case.

the last english rom is 3.20.06
the last german rom is 3.19.03
the last chinese rom is 3.18.07
the last at&t rom is A.20.17
the last tmobile ppc 2003 is 4.00.16
if you go to the o2 site you will find a link to a recent rom.

where do you get this german rom version? I tried the site of O2 Germany and all they say is Rom Version 3.19.01.

Any significant differences between 3.18 and 3.20 for Qtek 1010 ??
I falshed my M3000 with swiss ROM after dumping it to an SD now i tried the Qtek WWE but i really would like to use a german Qtek ROM is there a way to get one?

Do you know if there's any E-Plus ROM Upgrade (or at least the current version) available for QTek 9100 (which is called E-Plus Pocket PDA)? I would like to make sure that there's a way to restore my original settings and firmware before upgrading/crossgrading to the latest QTek ROM.
And - could you please give me a hint how to EASILY backup my current ROM from the 9100?

Does anybody here own a Swisscom v1605 in German and could upload the German Extended ROM to the FTP server?
We have a couple of HTC TyTN devices which need to be updated with the Swisscom Extended ROM due to the fact that combox SMS get lost. We already have the WWE (world-wide English) version available. So now I am desparately looking for the German version.
