I chose .16 for my last kitch rom upgrade and I cant remember why now...
I live in the uk... was it a US thing? something about not being able to go backwards.... exe only?

can anyone remind me why before I go and kill my xda? lol

If you upgrade to 4.00.16 with .EXE you CANNOT downgrade.
I've got that problem now, the ROM is protected by T-Mobile and that's it...
I'm trying desperately to get some nice instructions of somebody on how to downgrade.
does that only apply to the exe? or the SD card updates also ?
That only applies to the .exe update format. you can still downgrade via SD, no problem...I've done it quite a few times.

errr... just exactly what is in that rom? I notice I loose 2mb of space lol...
AIM is using about a meg of it, delete or move it to SD if you're not using !

Dude - I wouldn't hold out much hope in an O2 upgrade.

They are apparently still working on it. My guess, anywhere from now to 6 weeks.And even then it'll probably be full off bugs!

I would monitor the website www.4winmobile.com, we have good links with O2 amongst others, and will be able to let you know when the ROMs come out.

Why do you need WM5 if WM6 is already avaiblable on the HTC server?

There is no officlal WM5 NL at this moment, best thing you can do is to get one of the cooked roms and install, there is a new WM6 nl in the forum.
I want to mount on my imate sp3 the wm5. Before doing this I Know that it is necessary to update the SPL to version 1.01.109 but using spv-service I realize that the website http://www.spv-developers.com not working. Indeed is offline. How can I do as an alternative? Thanks

I just got my HTC cruise a month ago with Original shipped WM6.0:
ROM version: 1.28.457.2 WWE
ROM date: 03/10/08
Radio version: 1.58.25.14,
Protocol version: 25.69.30.05H
*funny thing is when booted, the red text in the bootscreen sayz "D: 1.28.00.00"...
I really like it because its really fast (yes i mean really fast - felt like 6.1) and stable compare to other orig shipped WM6.0 that i've used before (Touch Dual and TyTn II).
Before start to play with 6.1 ROMs, i wanted to have this rom file for my backup, so i can get back to my original shipped rom in case something screwed up.
I tried to googled everywhere including in HTC site, *BUMP!* can't find it..
I know i can tried to dump this using guides from this forum, unfortunately only dumping it as .raw, no steps to flash it back to the device.
Appreciated if anyone know where I can get it ROM from or point me to the thread where i can flash the dump back or even reconstruct it as .nbh after i dumped it?
