I bought an Orange SPV M650 from France, cid-unlocked it and tried many of the roms posted here on it (HTC English, French, O2, WM6...).
THE GPS ON THE M650 DOES NOT WORK WITH ANOTHER ROM EXCEPT AN ORANGE ONE !!!

I would like to post my experience here because this might help other SPV M650 owners. Thank you...

J'ai aussi un SPV M650, cid-unlocké, maintenant ça tourne sous WM6 rom venant de O2 changé en WWE. j'ai tomtom qui fonctionne à merveille. seul prob：configurer Edge de ORANGE.
Assistant de configuration GPRS (fonctionne sur SPV M650) http://www.europe.htc.com/support/software/htcp3600.html
Qd à ce que tu dis furious99 c'est n'importe quoi, en tout cas avec wm6 (en allemand quel courage biou !) ou htc french rom.

Non, d'abord c'est rom allemande, après tu installe la version WWE. J'ai pas réussi à installer directement la version WWE.

voila ce que j'ai fait: rom O2 allemande (c'est un fichier RUU, donc cela pose pas de probleme de mise à jour pour un artemis cid-unlocké), une fois cette version allemande de WM6 installée, avec le ppc connecté par activesync avec le PC, j'ai procédé tout de suite le reflashage de rom cuisiné par BEPE. 10-15mn d'attente, hard reset, et voilà.
Ok.
Avec cette rom, as tu toujours un retard ~50mètres avec tomtom 6.030 et la carte europe de l'ouest v6.75 ???
Moi, quelque soit la version de tomtom de 6.010 à 6.030 avec cette carte ou bien la v6.5 même constat alors que son mon (malheureusement ko) qtek s100 s'était nikel.

Bizarre! j'ai pas encore essayé, retard de 50 metres à quelle vitesse?
Quel que soit la vitesse, un simple trajet maison boulot suffit pour identifier le problème.
Utilises tu Tomtom sur cet SPV quel version de soft, de carte et quelle modèle ?

Ben non, en tout cas on est partie en Normandie avec, en pleine ville s'était l'horreur quand toutes les rues se succèdent demie tour guarantie...
J'utilise également MN6, un peu moin de retard mais bon, c'est bof bof qd même.

i have a trinity SFR S300+ for 1 month and i have problems with the bluetooth, i have a car kit Nokia CK7W and the people do not hear me all the time.
I'm searching an Update of rom for S300+ SFR (now ROM 1.23.163.2 02/08/07 radio 1.29.00.01) Without flashing the rom if it's possible (guarantee !! )
my english is very small in french if it's possible ...

Désolé mais à ma connaissance SFR ne fournit pas de ROM, la plus récente étant celle activant le GPS pour Orange et SFR, elle a été fournie par HTC directement. Sinon, tu n'as qu'à chercher à Flasher seulement la ROM radio, celle qui contient les drivers de communication (wifi, BT, GPS...), ça ne flashe pas la ROM OS. Au niveau garantie, je sais pas mais honnêtement, je crois que ça se voit que sur l'écran de boot SFR, les numéros de version...c plutôt fugace.
Tu peux trouver les diverses ROMs radio sur le site de colrou ( colrou.free.fr ); si tu cherches bien dans XDA dans le thread Trinity WM6 tu trouveras les ROMs SFR d'origine qui ont été extraites....au cas où tu flasherais ton OS.

Please give some detailled information about your device. Your current IPL/SPL values are welcome
You can find those informations when you make a soft-reset on your device.
In french :
Essaye d'ecrire un peu plus correctement, pour etre lu le plus possible, et eviter le sms-style.
Pour faire bref, on a besoin des valeurs IPL/SPL de ton appareil, donc tu prends ton stylet, a droit de l'appareil tu vas voir un petit trou, tu appuies legerement, tu lanceras un "soft-reset", tu verras des valeurs defilles en rouge. Mets les ici.

donc après j'ai installer les machin pour débloquer sim et cid la aussi tout aller très bien
après j'ai installé faman 4.03 la aussi tout alé bien
mais maintenant quand je veu installer une rom radio sa marche pas
je lence le romuptade utility ou ché pa trop quoi la et puis je m'est next next et next mais normalement avant je recevez un message et puis sa passez en bootloader mais la je n'est plus le message et sa passe en bootloader puis active sync se déconnecte et donc j'ai un message d'ereur ( 260 je crois bien)
voila j'ai essayé un hard reset mais sa ne change rien
ma rom os faman 4.03
rom radio : 1.16.00.00
et donc je n'ai pas le gps a cauze de cette rom radio que je n'arive pas a changer
ps: j'ai essayer de réinstaler faman 4.03 mais sa fais toujours pareil je reçoit rien et sa passe en bootloader et sa mais erreur je relance juste après c pareil voila aidez moi svp
