Can we downgrade bootloader from 5.17 to 5.15 ?
TIA
yes, you can. But you should be extremally careful and double-check each step to avoid sex with JTAG
The 5.15 bootloader on ftp://qtek:[email protected]/ is checked and found to be good.

I'm trying to download the 5.15 from ftp.zensay.com but I have some network problem.... sometime it replies, some times not and I can never succesfully list or download anything.
I suspect I may have a problem with the firewall, althoug I can succesfully connect to other ftp sites in passive mode too.
So, is there any other place where to get the files?

You must use sddl+ to flash back.If your phone wont start now you must try to do a hard reset from volume up camera and power. In my case worked.

They is a alpha 2 version window mobile 6 can help. But I won't recommend a non-window user to do the upgrade. There is always a risk to replace ROM. If not performed right, it will brick the device.

Yessssssssssssssss, you are all awesome!
I'm about to test the WM6 beta 2 on my hw6945. I'll let you know how it goes.
-- AMEND --
I've tried following the instructions of the above link.
I put my 6945 into activesync mode, ran the cmd prompt bit as administrator.
Reset the phone into BootLoader mode.
Then I ran the SABLE_RUU.exe as administrator and it hangs at "OS Ver". It returns an error "Client_OSVer fail !! 501". I did some research on it but I haven't found a fix for it yet.
Any suggestions?

Did you disable (uncheck) the USB connection box of the ActiveSync?
If ActiveSync holds on USB port, SALBE_RUU.exe won't be able to connect.

Both XP and windows 2003 server works fine. Not tried Windows 7 yet.
So I installed the revolution mod ( nougat ) and my fingerprint sensor was not working so I installed the stock firmware and because there were no fingerprints saved on stock , I factory reseted the phone , then I installed the revolution rom again and it was working for few days but now it stopped working again ( sometimes it does not recognize it and sometimes it doesnt even vibrate Like i would not even have my finger on it )
To me that sounds like an hardware issue and therefore needs to be sent in for repair.
I don't think it's an hardware issue.. the ROM has some problem with some people, I suggest you to try stock ROM for a few days to verify if the problem is related to your device or the ROM.

To me it sounded he installed stock and it did not work there either.
Ofc if it works in stock it should be related to the custom ROM.

Well if you are on a Nougat build, you cannot just flash a MM update.app
You either need to flash an OEMinfo file first (old method) or use the official Huawei rollback method (new method).
If you did none of that, that might be the reason why your phone does not boot.

Well that is a problem.
You need to get that code it is your only option.
This can be done with the DC Unlocker but it will cost you a few bucks and you need to find a guide in here or somewhere else. Or you just figure it out yourself. I have never used it.
You can also try to get the code again by using the Huawei site but you need your IMEI and some other stuff. I guess some of it can be found on the packaging that your device came with...

I mean you might try to find a way to get the needed information with adb but I do not know how. Maybe a Google search can provide more info.
There are also several threads in here where people tried to recover the bootloader code from a bricked device.
Just make sure to SAVE it somewhere safe once you retrieve it

Yeah that is the big problem...
Normally you get it over the phone dialer but since you are in bootloop...
I don't know...
There are programs out there that generate the product ID but I have no clue if they work for this device.
Use the huawei site where you get the unlock code and you will find that the id is found by typing a code on the phone dialer.... there you will find what to type on the phone.

I can't access the phone
I've been trying almost everything for days. When I turn on the phone the bootloader enters in a loop.
I can't access to recovery (vol up + power), not even in update mode(vol up & vol down + power).
The only thing I can access is the fastboot but my phone is locked and I don't the have the imei to unlock via calculator or the oficial huawei page.
If someone have any suggestions.

I downloaded the official ROM from huawei and is the recent version but when I tried to install it with "fastboot update file.zip" is asking for an android-text.txt and I been searching to re-create that file manually and then is asking for another file and so on.
I've been searching if I can install the oficcial ROM by fastboot even if is not unlocked and find this guide but it is not usefull for me 'cause I can't access into the download mode or use adb.
This is the information I could extract from my phone.
Firmware : ALE-L21C109B130
I couldn't fint this version of firmware.

Ok i searched for ways to find an IMEI number and found couple of ways...
1) Look under/in the sim tray. It may be there (I didn't check this out)
2) Find the IMEI/MEID using Google Dashboard. This is Google's control center that can be accessed from any computer with a web browser. You will need to log in with the Google account associated with your Android phone. You can access Google Dashboard by visiting www.google.com/settings/dashboard Expand the "Android" section by clicking the "Android" heading.Locate your phone in the list. If you have multiple devices associated with your account, all of the devices will be displayed. Find the device that you are trying to retrieve the IMEI/MEID number for. (This works)
3) At last, you can try to remove the back case and remove the battery. This can help you in 2 ways. Firstly, there should be IMEI code present under the battery. Secondly, this may cause you to get out of bootloop
