Doublepost ... Sorry..

Hi Huntmix,
You made a very cool tool ! Thanks for this!
May i make a wish ?
I would love to start this tool just from the lockscreen by just using a Fingerprint (which is not used for anything else) . Beside a Fingerprint (of a diffent Finger) that i use for "normal" unlocks !
That would be the perfect Privacy App for me.
Usecase:
When someone will force me to unlock the phone i just take the "Security finger" to start your wonderful privacy-tool!
Would something like that be possible ?

Mail-Design -> SMS/Messging (Manila2D)

Good evening,
I cant write english in a good way, so have fun at reading^^
This is my solution to add the Envelope/letter do the messaging-tab.
As you can see the background of the letter in the messaging tab AND in the mail-tab were changed.
SCREENDUMPS:

"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Included in "Files1" (at Downloads)
Cheated solution for Bug2 (Long messages will be displayed over the envelope) - Included in "Files2" (at Downloads)
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Go with an explorer to the windows directory and copy the files
hh_email_background.png
hh_email_envelope_down.png
hh_email_envelope_up.png
HTCHomeSettings.xml
to your storage card or anywhere else - THIS will be your backup, IF it doesnt work.
2. Copy the new files on your device. On the device you should copy all of the files in the windows-directory. You will be asked to overwrite the files - If you done task 1 its ok.
3. Restart Manila/Touchflo2D:
Settings -> Home -> System;
Uncheck "TouchFlo" -> Click OK;
Open the Home-Settings a second time -> System
Check "TouchFlo" -> Click OK -> Close Settings
4. There is no 4th Task, youre finished =)
BUGS:
1. If you scroll between your sms the envelope (not the letter) will slide too.
(Its the cause of replacing the line with the letter in the background)
2. Long messages will be displayed over the envelope (UNLIKE the mail-tab; the mails will be displayed correctly there)
(I made a cheated solution, with a white envelope - you can see it in the second picture)
Please notify that the home tab etc. will be changed too!
DOWNLOAD:
(I also uploaded my own created background/wallpaper) (Please dont host the files anywhre else and let the advertisement on uploaded.to opened 10 seconds):
It is VERY impossible to backup your files! (INSTRUCTIONS - Task1)
Files1 (with normal envelope + original files): http://ul.to/uh1way
Files2 (with white envelope + original files): http://ul.to/6t7fyt
Wallpaper: http://ul.to/qa18b1
PS: If you change things, like bugs etc. please post it here
Greetings
Hoamer
will this work in htc home, not manila?
Hm, i dont know. If htc-home is also based on xml-file it is possible - you can try it, but it is VERY impossible to backup your files - then you can try anything^^
If it works please post it here
EDIT: I searched for HTC-Home; no, this will not work with HTC-Home
Greetings
Hoamer

[APP] iptraf 3.0.0 for Android (with APK Installer)

Introduction:
Here's the classic iptraf for Android!

"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Installation:
You need to have a rooted phone and busybox installed on /system/xbin
You also need to have about 1Mb free on your /system partition.
Usage:
To use iptraf, you need to either have an SSH server on your phone (for example DroidSSHd) and connect using Putty from your PC, or you can use the Terminal Emulator (please see attached screenshots).
Any terminal emulator application should work, but iptraf requires at least 80×24 characters screen so for smaller screens you might need to reduce the font size a lot to make it fit.
The price is payed for the installer and the effort to have iptraf cross-compiled for Android, since iptraf is distributed under GPL license. Put in a different way, you are just buying me a beer for making it easier for you to have iptraf on your phone!
Filters:
If you decide to connect using SSH, the trouble is that iptraf will show the SSH traffic too – something that you might not want to have there constantly updating.
It would seem intuitive to create a filter which excludes SSH port from the traffic, but once you do that, iptraf will not show anything else; iptraf actually has an “implicit no-display” policy meaning that once you apply a filter (include / exclude) nothing else is displayed, even if the filter is Exclude mode. You will need to have an additional Include entry added to the filter (after the Exclusion entry taking care of the SSH port) where everything is 0 and all the ports have an Y next to them. Please check attached screenshots as an example on how the entries of the filter should look like.
Please do not forget to “Apply filter…” every time you change something in the filters. X saves the filter, Ctrl-X cancel the changes, but even if you press X, the filter is not yet applied unless you Apply the filter.
Download
Please donate by buying it from the Google Play :fingers-crossed:
Use it at your own risk!

Could you please make the sources of the iptraf binary available?
(preferably on github)
1 Euro to download from Android Market? That sucks

[Q] Delete data on SQLite

If this is the wrong section, kindly move it. Thanks!

So is the question " what is the command to remove information from the databases " ?
Assuming that you have already tried and met resistance... what is stopping you from have a "delete" button that actually ADDS a null value to to the key,name, and setting ?
I've never made it into a button like you are saying, but having null values replace the undesired has always worked well for me,
Hope that is helpful.

Your image doesn't show up so I assume its a list view where you will view all entries. In this case in the list view xml put a delete button, and in the activity you have to implement a custom adapter that listens for the button click (Google "custom simplecursoradapter"), and to delete the file it would be dbHelper.delete(Table, id, null) instead of dbHelper.add or dbHelper.query.
hope this helps

[MOD] Star Wars Vehicles Pattern Lock **CLOSED**

Why not make your phone look awesome before you start using it?

Presenting some pattern lock mods that use vehicles from Star Wars to make your phone look...well...awesome!
If you want to use these, you can do so in four separate ways:
If you know how to decompile files (if you don't, you really should), download the icons you want by selecting one of the '?_Pattern_Lock_Icons.zip' files and add them to the appropriate 'drawable-?dpi' folder in your 'framework-res.apk'.
Or, if you don't like decompiling files yourself and you're on Android 4.1 or above, try flashing one of the '?_PatternLock_Flashable_JB.zip' files. Because of the way that Android works, I can't guarantee that this will work on your particular setup. If it works for you, your existing 'framework-res.apk' will have these icons added to it, so any other mods you may have done won't be touched. And if you flash in CWM, you'll even get a flashable backup automatically made for you!
Or, if the above two options aren't working for you, you can make the changes with ZipThemer. Just install the ZipThemer app, which you can find on Google Play, download the '?_PatternLock_ZipThemer.zip' file you want and use it.
What if you're one of those amazing, clever, innovative and incredibly good-looking people who use 'Tickle My Android', you can add these icons to your current selection. Just download 'Star Wars Pattern Lock TMA Icons.zip', extract it in 'user_files\ICONS\PATTERNLOCK\' and run the tool as normal. TMA will automatically add the icons to the list you can choose from.
And this is what they look like. Be aware, these images might be a bit large but they need to be to show off the icons properly.
Jedi Star Fighter
Naboo Star Fighter
Slave 1
Tie Fighter
X-Wing
Y-Wing

Enjoy!
A duplicate thread? How the heck did I do that?
Oh well, I'm closing this thread. If any moderators feel like deleting it, I really wouldn't mind.
